Использование проектной методики на уроках английского языка

Личностно-ориентированное воспитание средствами иностранного языка предполагает, с одной стороны, использование учебного общения, сотрудничества и активной деятельности ученика на уроке, а с другой стороны, учителю необходимо найти способ “ввести реальный иностранный язык в школьный класс, включить ученика в реальную языковую коммуникацию, не выходя из учебной аудитории, смоделировать в школе реальный процесс вхождения в культуру.

Одной из технологий, обеспечивающей личностно-ориентированное обучение является метод проектов.

Работа над проектом - процесс творческий. Учащийся самостоятельно или под руководством учителя занимается поиском решения какой -то проблемы. Это требует от него владение большим объемом предметных знаний, владение творческими, коммуникативными и интеллектуальными умениями, например, генерировать идеи, для чего требуются знания в разных областях, умение находить не один, а несколько вариантов решения проблемы, вести дискуссию, слушать и слышать собеседника, отстаивать свою точку зрения, подкрепленную аргументами, находить компромисс с собеседником, лаконично излагать свою мысль. Практика пользования метода проектов показывает, как отмечает Е.С.Полат, что “вместе учиться не только легче и интереснее, но и значительно эффективнее. Помочь друг другу, вместе решить любые проблемы, разделить радость успеха или горечь неудачи – так же естественно, как смеяться, петь, радоваться жизни”. Поэтому можно с уверенностью утверждать, что у учащегося развивается креативная компетентность, как показатель коммуникативного владения ИЯ на определенном уровне. Проект создает максимальные условия для проявления и становления творческих возможностей учащегося.

В курсе иностранных языков метод проектов может использоваться в рамках программного материала практически по любой теме. Проектная технология сочетается с любым учебником (УМК) и другими учебными средствами и может быть включены в различные формы общей системы работы над изучаемым языком на этапе речевой практики и интегративного развития коммуникативных умений иноязычного речевого общения как вид работы по поддержке достигнутого уровня, совершенствованию и углублению подготовки учащегося. При этом проектное задание может рассматриваться как определенная форма адаптации материалов учебника к непосредственным особенностям образовательной ситуации и индивидуальным особенностям учащихся.

В основе каждого проекта лежит какая-либо проблема. Чтобы решить, учащимся требуется не только знание языка, но и владение большим объемом предметных знаний, владение творческими, коммуникативными и интеллектуальными умениями.

Работа с проектом имеет следующие этапы работы:

I этап. Подготовительный. Предложение темы исследования. Темы могут быть предложены в рамках учебника, выбранного учителем в качестве основного, ее может сформулировать сам учитель с учетом учебных и воспитательных задач, а также сами учащиеся. Чаще темы проектов относятся к какому–то практическому вопросу, актуальному для жизни школьника в социуме, требующему привлечения его собственного опыта.

II этап. Организация работы.

Согласование общей линии разработки проекта. Формирование групп. Составление подробного плана работы над проектом. Обсуждение путей сбора информации и осуществление путей сбора информации и осуществление поисковой работы. Обсуждение первых результатов в группе.

III этап. Завершающий этап

Промежуточный контроль. Обсуждение способа оформления проекта. Документирование проекта. Презентация результатов проекта. Подведение итогов проекта. Выставление оценок.

IV этап. Практическое использование результатов проекта

(в качестве наглядных пособий, докладов на других уроках и т.д.)

Урок – презентация проектной работы по теме “Fashion” , 6 класс

Цели:

1. Реализация творческого потенциала учащегося как субъекта самостоятельной учебной деятельности.
2. Актуализация личностно значимых мотивов учебной деятельности.
3. Интеграция межпредметных знаний.
4. Включение процесса освоения изучаемого языка и культуры в реальную информационно-образовательную, проектно-исследовательскую и социально - культурную деятельность.
5. Создание условий для формирования учебной компетенции учащихся в области изучения ИЯ и его развития как языковой личности.

Учащимся были предложены следующие проблемные ситуации:

– изучить мнение подростков о моде, об одежде, которую они носят. Проект “ What do Teenagers Think about Clothes”.
– о моде настоящего и будущего. Проект “Fashion Parade”.

Project No.1. Форма защиты: Телевизионная программа WOW

Ведущий 1: Good morning, dear televiewers! Today is Tuesday and we are with you again. We are going to speak about fashion. Are we fashion victims or not? The first impression we make almost fully depends on what we wear and how we wear it. Manners and speech are noticed next and character only later. So to present yourself skillfully is a talent. It’s very nice to have some clothes sense to know and feel the types of things that are your style. Nowadays many people don’t think about clothes very much. They just like to be comfortable. When they go out to enjoy themselves, they wear almost anything.

Ведущий 2: But so many people, so many opinions. Our production team has visited one of the Leninogorsk schools and found out what teenagers think about fashion. Now you’ll see an interview and hear the boys and girls’ opinions of how to feel more comfortable in the company of their friends.

Some people are dedicated followers of fashion, others put on the first thing they find in the morning. Here are some boys and girls’ opinions of how to feel more relaxed and comfortable in the company of their friends.

Olga:

“You aren’t accepted in some circles if you don’t dress like everyone else. Each group has its own look. Everyone dresses the same as if wearing a uniform. If you don’t dress like the others you feel out – like a fish out of water”.

Guzel:

“I have the same tastes as my friends and we all dress more or less in the same way. I like the way we wear the same things, it makes us even closer”.

Adelya:

“I like to keep up-to-date with the changes in our society. I love TV and advertising. I try to keep up-to-the-minute with what I wear. Being in fashion makes me feel good, in tune with the world I live in”.

Airat:

“Fashion designers create beautiful clothes; clothes in which you look good and in which you feel comfortable. They know what young people want. That’s why I choose to be in fashion”.

Rinat:

“My parents say that my clothes are too strange, too different from what they wear. It’s true, I like to stand out from my parents, to shock and provoke them”.

Masha:

“I can’t tell if I follow fashion or not. When I need to buy something new, I choose what I like best and naturally, what I can afford to buy. I don’t worry if it’s fashionable or not”.

Now we are asking our audience the same question. Are you a fashion victim?

• No, I think not.
• And what about you? What are your favourite clothes? Have you got any?
• I usually wear jeans and a sweater to feel comfortable.
• Do you wear anything special when you go to a party?
• I put on my beautiful velvet dress of green or something like that.
• And what about you? What do you put to the theatre? Jeans? A sweater?
• I’d love to. But I can’t because it’s important to wear the right things to the theatre. As for me I wear my dark blue suit, trousers and a light blue shirt that matches with the suit greatly and a tie, of course.

Ведущий2: Our spectators think it’s important to wear right things. But how to choose this right thing? We are going to ask our famous designer Miss Vivian this question. She represents the Fashion House “Modern Look.” She’s in our studio today. Greet her, please. She is ready to answer our question.

Miss Vivian: Of course, it depends on the situation. To the theatres and concerts we try to put our elegant evening dresses. In offices business people wear formal clothes. Men – usually suits and ties, jeans and open shirts are not generally allowed. For women it is more sensible to put on dresses and skirts. When you are not sure what to wear it is best simply to watch what other people do and then do the same or ask for your friends’ advice.

No. 1 You can see a beautiful purple dress made of velvet and delicate satin. It has got long tight sleeves and a loose skirt. This outfit will be suitable for going to a party or to the theatre.

No. 2 This outfit isn’t cheap because it’s made of cloth with metallic thread. What do we call that colour? Grey? White? I think it’s silver. It consists of a jacket, trousers, boots as well as a small top of the same colour. Isn’t it terrific? At discos and parties you will be the best in it.

No. 3 You see the outfits which are always in fashion. Jeans and T-shirts were worn by our parents. We wear them with great pleasure too. We are sure they will be popular in future too. Have a look at our models. They are lovely, aren’t they?

No. 4 This is a summer outfit. It’s in light blue and consists of tight trousers made of stretch cloth and a small but beautiful blouse. I think it looks as light as a feather.

No. 5 We represent a classical style. A black suit with black trousers will never be out of fashion. A tie in the shape of a butterfly makes this outfit super and adds smartness to your appearance.
