St. Valentine's Day


Aim: to consolidate knowledge about the holiday.

Класс украшен сердечками, плакатами. На доске на разных языках записано «Я тебя люблю».

Вступительное слово учителя.

I. Who speaks so about their love?

I love you - English

Je t'aime - French

Ich liebe dich - German

S'agapo - Greek

Taim I'ngra leat - Irish

Ti amo - Italian

Te Ados - Romanian

Te amo - Spanish

Seni seviyorum - Turkish

II. The teams are given small cards with Russian and English words. They should match the English words to the Russian ones. The winner gets a point.

The English words are: Cupid, bow, arrow, ribbon, to sign, sweetheart, bishop.

III. The teams get cards with words. They should write the words correctly.

IV. The teams do the puzzle and read the message

VII. Once upon a time there lived a boy who loved a girl very much. But the girl's father didn't like the boy and didn't want his daughter to meet him. One day the boy decided to write the girl a love letter. He knew that the girl's father would read it first, so used one simple trick.

When the letter arrived both the girl and her father were happy. The girl knew that the boy still loved her and the father decided that he didn't like his daughter any more. Can you guess why they are so happy?

Answer:

The girl reads only the first line of the letter, then the third and the fifth line, and so on, to the end of the letter. If you read the odd number lines only you'll see why the girl was happy.

VIII. Game.

Девочка и мальчик стоят напротив друг друга на расстоянии десяти шагов. Мальчик делает комлимент девочке на каждый шаг. Например: you are so beautiful, good, sweet and so on.

IX. Analyses. Evaluation.
