ТЕМА: Времена года. Путешествия.
ЦЕЛИ: к концу урока ученики смогут активизировать новый лексический материал в чтении и говорении; научиться рассказывать о временах года, о том, куда и когда они хотят поехать.
ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: картинки с изображением природы, с достопримечательностями Крыма, карта Крыма, карта Великобритании.
ХОД УРОКА.

GREETING

Good morning. - Good morning.

How are you? - We are fine, thank you.

Who is on duty today? - I am on duty today.

Who is absent today? - All are present.

Oh, very well. Tanya, tell me please, what is the weather like today?
P.3: - The weather is bad today. The sky is grey. It is cold. It looks like
rain. It is not sunny. It is muddy.
P.4: - But as for me, I like rainy weather. When it is raining, you have
a good opportunity to stay at home, to read an interesting book or to watch TV.
T.: - Oh, thank you. I think all children can agree with you.
I.AIM
The topic of our today's lesson is "SEASONS. TRAVELLING".
By the end of the lesson you'll be able:

to operate words and word combinations in a new situations;

to read and understand the gist and specific information from the text;
-
to speak about travelling, seasons.
II.CHECK ON HOMEWORK
Your hometask was to learn new words and word combinations. Now we are going to play the game and find out who knows more words concerning weather, seasons. You should name the words in turn. For person who doesn't know the word the game will be over. It's prohibited to repeat the same words. If the pupils can't say the word they will sit down.
III.WARM - UP
Now let's play the game: "Guess the word "
(Ученику на спину прикрепляется табличка со словом, он угадывает это слово, с помощью вопросов, задаваемых одноклассникам.)
- Is it a season? - - No, it is not.
- Is it a month? - - Yes, it is.
- Is the weather warm in this month? - Yes, it is. It is very hot.
- Is it July? - - Yes, you are right.
Следующие виды работы будут групповыми, поэтому ученики делятся на группы. На столе лежат картинки, разрезанные на части. Дети берут часть картинки и ищут у кого другие части этой картинки. Таким образом создаются группы.
V. MAKE UP A STORY
Каждой группе раздаётся лист, на котором написано слово. Надо подобрать слова или словосочетания, которые начинаются на каждую из букв, составляющих это слово, и составить рассказ из этих слов.

September, October, November are autumn months. The weather is bad, cold, and windy in November. The days are short, the nights are long in autumn. There are red, yellow, brown leaves on the treas.

Now listen to four people. Write down the activities and months they mention.
