An extra-curricular activity "An hour of merry English".



Aims: To revise all letters and lexical material which was learned before (with the help of games and competitions).To gain the learners, interests in FL learning.

Procedure of the party:

Organization moment.

Good afternoon, boys and girls! Dear children! Today we,ll have a game lesson "An hour of merry English." I think you will enjoy our lesson. Now if you are ready, let,s begin our competition. First of all let,s meet the jury. There are 2 teams, 8 participants in each team) The leader of the team introduces them. Now I think our teams are ready. Let,s begin. The competition consists 7 rounds.

1. Our 1st stage is called: " Do you know the ABC?" Your task is to write the English letters in alphabetical order. Write the letter and read it.

2. The 2nd round is called : " Matching". Read the letter and find the small one and it,s sound.

3. Do you know the colour? Colour the cars.

4. Find the words.

Here I have a list where the words of the theme: "Family", "Numerals", "School equipments".
