Тема. Какой он, мир вокруг нас?

Цель:

Учебная: ознакомить и закрепить употребление лексико-грамматических структур, сформировать лексические навыки, акцентировать внимание на особенностях произношения, развить и закрепить навыки чтения ,восприятия на слух и устной речи, сформировать навыки применения новых изученных лексических единиц, совершенствовать компетенции устной диалогической речи;

Развивающая: вызвать заинтересованность учеников темой урока, привлечь их внимание к новым лексических единиц, изложенным в этом уроке ,научить их быть свободными в общении, обогатить лексический запас; предоставить возможность ученикам использовать повседневные знания; привлечь к работе учеников всего класса;

Воспитательная: воспитать культуру ведения диалога, уважение к собеседнику, привить такие черты характера, как доброжелательность, терпимость, инициативность, уважение к окружающим , культуру общения, мотивацию в расширении своих знаний.
Оборудование: наглядные пособия по теме урока, тематические карточки для индивидуального выполнения.

Ход урока

Разминка:

1. Have one or two days-of-the-week races on the board.

2. Listen and repeat (p. 72, ex. 1).

Read the new number words. (You can use the cards. Pupils listen and repeat). Make sentences with the new words. (Pupils complete the sentences with the new words too).

Do choral and individual repetition.

Game

NUMBER RACE

Have a Number Race with numbers 0-10 on the board.

Divide the class into two teams.

Write the numbers on the board as the class chant them out: one, two, three, four, etc.

Choose one player from each team. Give them some chalk.

Explain that they are going to have a Number Race.

Call out any number from the board.

The two players race to find it on the board.

One team crosses off (x) numbers if they find them first, and the other team circles (O) them.

After every two or three numbers, two new players come out and take over the race.

Have two or three races if there is time.

Практическая часть урока:

3. Look and say (p. 71, ex. 3). Pupils look at the photos.

Ask, "How old is Jack / Mary?" etc. Pupils describe the children in the photos.

4. Work in pairs. Act out (p. 72, ex. 3).

Ask the pupils to read the dialogues in pairs.

Help them to translate difficult word combinations.

Pupils read and practice in pairs. One or two pairs act out the dialogues.

5. Look and say (p. 73,, ex. 5).

Picture puzzles: Pupils look at the puzzles silently and guess the pictures. Then they answer questions: "What's Number 12? - It's a coat."

Learn the poem.

Read the poem and point to the pictures on the board.

"In winter I ski and skate,"

Says little Kate.

"In summer I like to swim,"

Says little Jim.

"And what do you do in spring?"

"In spring we dance and sing."

6. Look, complete and write (p. 74, ex. 6). Look at the card. Read the words. Read the wordcombinations and fill in the gaps.

Key: 1. in; 2. above; 3. over; 4. on; 5. below; 6. on; 7. under.

Write the words. Pupils might write down their own answers in their notebooks.

Окончание урока:

7. Speak English (p. 76, ex. 5).

Ask the pupils to describe the temperature .

Домашнее задание:

What is the weather like today?( Write some short sentences about sky. temperature and nature).
