The Centaur

The centaurs appeared in Greek myths. They lived in mountains and forests. In some myths they are heroes, and in other they are angry creatures. (head, arms/human, body, legs/horse)

A scary night

A I decided to call the police. Soon a police car stopped in front of the house. A policeman listened to my story and went out. Five minutes later he came back and said: "It's all right. The man was only walking its dog, and it ran into your garden."

В I went quickly into my daughter's room and looked out of the window. I could see the dark figure of a man in our garden. Who was he and why was he looking at our windows?

С I closed the door after him. My daughter was sitting on my bed, she was frightened. "Was that man really walking his dog?" she asked. "I don't know. But I'm sure we've frightened him and he won't come back."
