Урок английского языка по теме : "Weather"

Тема «Weather»

Цели урока:

развивающий аспект: развитие мыслительных способностей, развитие умений высказывать предположения и планирование высказываний;

учебный аспект - формирование лексических и грамматических навыков говорения, совершенствование речевых навыков;

воспитательный аспект - развитие познавательных способностей и способностей к общению;

Задачи урока: закрепить и проверить знания учащихся по теме;

Метод - личностно-ориентированный, ролевая игра

Тип урока - урок обобщения и систематизации знаний, творческий проект с презентациями; Оснащение урока -, магнитофон с записями, раздаточный материал с лексико-грамматическими упражнениями;

I.Целевой блок. Организационный момент. Введение в языковую среду.

Introduction.

Приветствие, подготовка учащихся к работе на уроке, сообщение о теме и плане урока.

T: Good morning, children! I'm happy to see you!

-So we are

I hope, you guessed, that the topic of our today's discussion is "Weather"

Today we are going to speak about different seasons and weather. I hope you'll work well.

II. Мотивация учащихся к учебной деятельности, вызов устойчивого интереса к теме урока.

Warming -up activities. /отработка лексических единиц в речи учащихся /

1.1 T: Look through the window! What do we say about the weather if it is bad or good?

  1. What a lovely day!

  2. Fine morning .isn't?- Oh,yes, splendid weather

  3. What a nice weather we are having today!-Yes, really.

  4. Nice day today!-Yes, indeed.

  5. Isn't it wonderful?-Sure.

T:Isn't it a lovely weather?

What season is it now? It is spring now.

What is the weather like today- It is cold.

What do you think, is the day bright? - No, the day is dull

1.2. T: Do you know any poems and rhymes about winter? Will you tell any?

Winter is wonderful, winter is white

Everything is so shiny and bright

Winter is cheerful, winter is gay

We can laugh merrily

Run, jump and play.

Spring is green

Summer is bright

Autumn is yellow

Winter is white

III.Активизация лексических навыков.

T: Let's say something about different seasons.

What season do you like best?

P1: As for me, I like spring, because the air is fresh and it is cool and the nature is beautiful.

P2:I like winter, because I can play snowballs .

P3:I like autumn, because there are many yellow, red, brown trees, much rain and many mushrooms.

P4:I like summer, because I can swim in the river and ride bikes.

P5:I like summer too, because we hear grasshoppers in the grass and bees, they collect nectar and make honey.

P6: I like spring, because it brings as much rain as it can and there are such flowers as: tulips, violets,

buttercups, daffodils and others.

IV. Актуализация знаний учащихся, совершенствование речевых навыков

Развитие навыков устной речи.

1.1T: And now the Weather Forecast for today.

Look through the window! What season is it now?

/It's winter. It's cold. It's three below zero. It's snowy. It's slippery. Be very careful. /

(высказывание мнений о погоде)

1.2.P: Good morning! Today is the 28th of February.

It is winter now. Everybody knows it is a beautiful season.

What a fairy sight at night

Is the forest still and white?

When above us floats the moon

Like a wonderful balloon

When an every fir and pine

Diamonds and jewels shine

In winter the weather is changeable.

Sometimes it is cold and frosty and sometimes it is rainy and foggy.

In the morning and at night it is cold and frosty, and in the daytime it is sunny and frosty.

Today the weather is sunny and frosty.

We can play snowballs and make a snowman.

But in the evening it will snow.

T: Although the weather is fine, it is still winter. Will you tell me some words about ?

P1: In winter the sun rises later than usual. It is the coldest season. When it snows, everything is white and beautiful.

P2: Children make a snowman and play snowballs. Sometimes we have rain and fog. People usually spend their time at home, because it is cold outdoors.

P3: The trees are white with snow. They are very beautiful. Children like to be in the park in winter. They come there to ski .They enjoy winter.

P4: Winter is famous for its sunny, frosty days. Everything looks so beautiful, covered with snow and ice.

P5: It's a pity, that we have a mild winter in our town. I think winter is a good time for sports: skating and skiing.

IV. Активизация лексических навыков.

T: And now repeat the following tongue-twister. Practice saying as quickly as you can.

Whether the weather is fine

Or whether the weather is not

Whether the weather is cold

Or whether the weather is hot

We'll whether the weather

Whatever the weather

Whether we like it or not

1.-What is the weather like today?

-It looks like snow and it is cold outside.

2-Is it going to rain?

-I hope not, though it looks like rain.

3.-Hello! Do you like the weather?

-Oh, yes .It is frosty and snowy.

-Do you know the forecast for tomorrow?

-I hope it'll keep frosty to skate and ski in the park.

VI. Активизация знаний учащихся по теме «Погода «

/учащиеся выполняют задания, затем проверяется их понимание/

1.Найди лишнее слово и подчеркни его.

  1. Snow, rain, wind, sky, clouds.

  2. snowballs, children, snowmen, icicles.

  3. To make a snowman, to decorate a tree, to do homework, to play snowballs.

2.Соедини словосочетания с их переводами:

Цели урока: ознакомить с Present Perfect Continuous Tense.

Задачи урока:

  1. Образовательные: способствовать формированию грамматических навыков сравнения и употребления времен Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous;

  2. Воспитательные: учить учащихся проявлять интерес к стране изучаемого языка; повышать мотивацию к изучению английского языка;

  3. Развивающие: развивать навыки аудирования; диалогической речи и монологического высказывания по теме; развитие лексических и грамматических навыков.

Оборудование урока: карточки с ключевыми словами для составления диалогов, карточки с грамматическими заданиями.

Ход урока

I. Организационный этап урока:

Teacher: Hello, everybody! I am glad to see you.

Pupils: We are glad to see you, too.

Teacher: Sit down, please.

Pupils: I am sitting down.

I have sat down.

I am sitting.

Teacher: The subject of our lesson today is English Tenses. We will do different tasks: make up dialogues, translate sentences from Russian into English and from English into Russian. So let's set to work. Are you ready?

Pupils: Yes, we are.

II. Фонетическая зарядка:

(девочки задают мальчикам вопросы в виде уже известного им стихотворения , а мальчики отвечают и задают им свои вопросы).

Let' recite our favourite poem. Girls, begin, please.

Girls:

Boys, have you met famous people?
Have you tried English tea?
Have you ever fallen off
A very high tree?
Have you ever played tennis?
Have you lost? Have you won?
And what's the coolest thing
You have ever done?

Boys:

I have met Elton John,
And I've tried English tea.
I have never fallen
off a very high tree,
But when I was eleven,
I did a parachute jump,
And that's the coolest thing
I have ever done.

Boys:

Have you ever found money?
Have you travelled to Spain?
Have you ever gone
on a jumbo jet plane?
Do you know how to dive?
Have you swum in the sea?
And what's the coolest thing
You have ever seen?

Girls:

I have never found money,
And I haven't been to Spain,
And I've never gone
on a jumbo jet plane.
But I've seen a giraffe,
It walked down our street.
And that's the coolest thing
I have ever seen.

III. Речевая разминка:

1. Teacher: Thank you very much for reciting the poem.

Now, answer my questions, please.

IV. Активизация навыков монологической речи

Teacher: It is important to have a good motto if you want to be successful. Now I want you open your books at p.11 ex.18 Let' s read the examples of the mottos, which of the following mottos do you like and why? Work in groups and share your ideas with classmates.

V. Физкультминутка

Teacher: Are you tired? Look at the screen and do the puzzles.

a) Повторение образования Present Simple, Present Continious, Present Perfect.

1. Teacher: Now , look at the screen and name the tenses.(используется мультимедийная презентация)

Pupils: Учащиеся глядя на формулы времен называют их, а ответы подтверждаются с помощью анимации на экране.

b) Закрепление повторенного грамматического материала. Работа по карточкам. Учащимся раздаются карточки с заданиями.

Complete the sentences.

  1. Billy usually …………….. (sit ) near the window, but now he ……(sit) in front of the teacher.

  2. I …………..(read) already the book .

  3. Every day my mother …………….(try) to teach my kittle brother how to do morning exercises

  4. The sun …………..(shine) brightly , let's have lunch in the garden.

  5. Alina……….(live) in Nurlat.

  6. My parents always ……………(spend )their holidays at the seaside.

VII. Введение нового грамматического материала.

Teacher: If you want to speak English well, you'll have to learn English grammar regularly. We shall have a talk about Present tense - Present Perfect Continuous .

VIII. Закрепление введенного грамматического материала

a) Teacher: Can you use the present tenses in the sentences ?And now open your books at p.11 ex.20. Let's open the brackets and read the sentences one by one.

b) Для закрепления употребления временных форм Present проводится тест. Данный тест проверяет умение правильно выбирать и употреблять настоящие времена (Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, Present Perfect Continuous) в соответствии с ситуацией общения. Из четырех вариантов ответа необходимо выбрать один, который на Ваш взгляд является правильным.

IX. Развитие навыков перевода

Teacher: Now translate the sentences from Russian into English:

- Мы повторяем времена английского языка.

- Мама только что приготовила ужин.

- Я читаю «Гарри Поттера» уже 2 недели.

- Мы с классом каждый год ездим на экскурсию в Казань.

- Мы учим английский язык каждый день.

- Я смотрю «Универ» уже 2 часа.

X. Развитие навыков диалогической речи:

Teacher: Now, I'll give cards with key words to four pairs. Use these words and make up dialogues. ( Слова для диалогов показаны также и на экране). While the four pairs are making dialogues, let's translate the dialogue on the screen from Russian into English.

Макe up dialogues using the following key words:

  1. By train, travel, ever, hello, I'm OK, where, when, have been, haven't seen you for ages, to Moscow, Red Square, the Tsar Bell, the Tsar Cannon, like it there, sure, thanks a lot, bye- bye.

  2. Hi, I'm fine, haven't seen you for a long time, really, have been, visited, by plane, have come, from America, just, how interesting, of course, Big Ben, what else, see, the Natural History Museum and…,thank you, good bye.

  3. Hello, I'm fine, ever, have read, when, you, going, where, to the library, to give back the book, what book, "Harry Potter", read, like it, did, bye-bye, haven't seen you for ages, see you.

  4. Good morning, where, are going, how are you? Let's go, cinema, together, what film is on? Taras Bulba, Oh! I have seen, last Thursday, alone, with my schoolmates, like it,enjoy yourself, very much

XII. Заключительная часть:

Teacher: Thank you very much for the lesson. You were very active today. I give you good marks today. Good - buy! Good-luck!!!

Home task: Написать 8 предложений используя все временные формы Present Tenses.
