Read the title of the text. What animals do you think it is about?

1.A Bengal tiger hunts big animals.

1. More about their life

1 It is a national animal of India. It hides in tall grass and hunts big animals like deer.

2 . Indian elephants are big animals.

2 What do an elephant need the trunk for?

2 They are very big and tall 2-3 metres. Usually a bid female is the head of a family elephants. Indian people use elephants to carry heavy things with their trunks.

3 The rhino has a horn.

3 About their habits and life.

3 The Indian rhino has only one horn. African rhinos have two. It lives alone and sit in water or mud. There are about 2500 Indian rhinos today.

3. Работа после чтения.

Далее работа в группах для создания проекта. Проекты могут быть в виде листовки или постера.

Учащиеся разделяются на группы. Выбирают животного из текста, которого они хотели бы описать. Каждый член группы имеет свое задание. Можно использовать дополнительную информацию.

После чего идет презентация проектов.
