Kazakhstan- Great Britain

Aims: 1. To talk about Great Britain and Kazakhstan, to enlarge pupil's knowledge

about these countries, to develop the abilities to speak English,

creative abilities of pupils; to teach the pupils to be able to discuss, to

find expression in any situation, etc.

2. to teach the pupils to read the poems expressively, to develop

children's memory, logical thought, creative abilities, vocabulary.

3. to bring - up children's love to the language, love of country,

to bring - up pupil's interest, respect and love to foreign and native

language

Type of the lesson: competition

The methods of teaching: question - answer

Teacher: Good morning dear teachers, guests and pupils! You are welcome to our competition "Kazakhstan- Great Britain". Today we will define the best leader. And now I want to invite our participants. They are "Young teenagers" and "Brave eagles". The participants, introduce yourselves.

  • Thank you . I wish you good luck! Everyone will get a point for the correct answer in the competition and at the end of the party we'll see who is the leader of our competition.

  • Now I will introduce you with the process of the game. Our game consist of four stages:

  1. "Answer the question"

  2. "Guess the riddles" Proverbs

  3. "What do you know about these countries?"

  4. "Who is the best"

  • Now let's begin our game. Our first stage is "Answer the questions". At this stage you must answer my questions. For each correct answer you will get 10 points.
