Тема: Food. Project "My cafe (pizzeria)"

Тип урока: обобщающий урок

Цели: 1) Активизировать лексику по теме «Еда» в различных видах речевой деятельности (чтении, аудировании, говорении).

1. Совершенствовать навыки диалогической речи по темам: «В кафе», «За столом».

2. Развивать память, языковую догадку учащихся, творческие способности учащихся.

3. Воспитывать навыки культурного поведения в кафе, пиццерии, за столом, побуждать быть гостеприимными, вежливыми.

Оборудование: магнитофон, компьютерные программы «Английский - путь к совершенству, «LANG Master», проектор, учебник, рабочие тетради, карточки с дифференцированными заданиями, картинки из лото, иллюстрации по теме «Еда».

Ход урока.

2. Постановка целей и задач урока.

Today we are going to a cafe or a pizzeria and we'll see what dishes you like best of all.

3. Речевая зарядка.

But now try to answer my questions.

What food do you like? Why?

What do you usually have for breakfast (dinner, supper)?

Do you like soup?

Help me please to cook a tasty soup. What ingredients do I need?

4. Повторение и активизация лексического материала по теме «Food»

1. Help to cook a soup. (Учащиеся кладут в кастрюлю карточки с изображение» овощей, муляжи овощей и продуктов, необходимых для приготовления супа называя их вслух)

You'll need carrots, potatoes, onions...

2. Find as more as possible words, (презентация и поиск слов по теме «Еда») (проверка

домашнего задания)

3. Read and complete the poem. The words are given below, (презентация Jam , cheese, cake, honey, Cola, cream, bread)

And my sister Bunny eats too much...

This girl is Lola. She likes drinking ...

But do you want to know the food that is a dream?

4. Работа с лото.

1) Игра «Найди продолжение»

Ведущий раздает участникам игры тематические карты, а маленькие карточки оставляет у себя. Затем он берет одну карточку и читает по-английски первую часть микродиалога, написанного на ней. Это либо вопрос, либо просьба, либо обращение. Участники игры ищут на своих картах картинку, на которой был бы дан весь этот микродиалог. Тот, кто найдет ее, отвечает ведущему по-английски на первую реплику. Получает карточку и закрывает ею такую же картинку на своей карте. Выигрывает тот, кто первым закроет маленькими карточками все картинки на тематических картах (или у кого закрытых картинок больше).

2) Составление учащимися микродиалогов по ситуациям, данным на картинках.

V. Работа учащихся над диалогом.

VI. Презентация проектов учащихся «Му cafe», «Му pizzeria»

-Do you like to go to cafes or pizzerias?

At home you designed you own cafes or pizzerias. Let's visit them.

Работа в микрогруппах. Каждая из 3 микрогрупп (по 3 человека в каждой) представляют рекламу кафе, меню и рецепты фирменных блюд. Один человек из группы - директор или рекламный агент ( представляет рекламу кафе), другой - официант (знакомит с меню), третий - шеф- повар (предлагает блюда и их рецепты)

Учащиеся после прослушивания выступлений «посещают» представленные кафе и составляют мини-диалоги между официантом и посетителем типа:

Waiter: Can I help you? / Can I take your order? / Are you ready to order?

Customer. Yes, I'd like / I'll have ... /1 need another minute, please.

Waiter: How would you like your hamburger / cheeseburger cooked?

Customer: Rare/medium/well-done.

Waiter: What would you like to drink?

Customer: I'd like a coke, please.

Waiter: What size would you like?

Customer: Small / medium / large.

Waiter: Anything else?/Would you like anything else? /Will that be all?

Customer: What is your soup of the day? / What kind of dessert do you have?

Customer: May I have the check, please?

Waiter: How would you like to pay? Cash or credit card?

And let's taste our dishes. What do you think about them?

Выбирают наиболее понравившееся кафе и блюдо.

7. Исполнение песни.

I know that you like to sing very much. Now let's have a rest and sing a funny song «Jelly on a plate»

My English friend likes to go to restaurants. Let's find out what kind of restaurants he visited.

The Vegetable Garden is a brand new vegetarian restaurant, in New York, in the heart of the city. My friend and I went to dinner there last night. We both thought it was very attractive. We began with an appetizer of roasted and baked vegetables, with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Next, the waiter brought out ingredients for a large green salad, and he made the salad in front of us. We ate the salad along with big bowls of hot chilli. The waiter forgot the bread, but he soon came out of the kitchen with not one, but two delicious kinds of bread: one was an olive bread and the other was a cheese bread. For dessert, I had a fresh fruit salad with strawberries, grapes and bananas, and my friend chose carrot cake with caramel sauce. All in all, we got

excellent value for our money. The meals cost $17 each. I recommend The Vegetable Garden to people who love fresh food.
