Work in groups. You are divided into 3 groups. I'll give to every group the text. One of you need read it, another- translate and the third pupil -write down what is this text about? You need find the problem into this text.

1 group. - People have always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. We always see much rubbish in our streets. Some people drop their cigarette butts just anywhere they want, or crush up their gum wrapper and drop it on the ground. We know that noise is a special type of environmental pollution. Many cities suffer from smog. Millions of cars and smoky factories pollute and spoil the air we

breathe in.

2 group - Wild plants and animals live in their habitat. Nowadays people change habitats to suit their own needs - to create farmlands or build cities, for example. They also destroy wildlife habitats while mining or by building roads. A lot of species - fish, reptiles, insects, birds, mammals - are disappearing fast. It's reported that by 2030 25% of all animals, birds and insects may be extinct.

3 group - Radiation has become one of the main problems. Many people died from radiation in Chernobyl. It was a great tragedy. People build nuclear stations and carry out nuclear tests. As a result, radiation represents one of the main problems nowadays. But some countries such as Schwitzerland and Austria stopped building nuclear power stations.

Every group come to the blackboard and the first pupil - read the text, the second pupil - read translation and the third pupil - read problems.
