An Ideal Family

We are a typical traditional Russian family, we are a close family and get on well with each other. I have got a father, a mother, an elder sister and an elder brother.

My mother's name is Vera Ivanovna. She is 39. My mum is a young good-looking woman with blue eyes and long fair hair. She is intelligent, kind, loving and understanding. She is a librarian. Her hobby is reading books. She is fond of foreign literature, especially poetry.

My father's name is Alexander Petrovich. He is 43 years old. My dad is a young handsome man. His hair is dark and his eyes are brown. He is clever, responsible, serious but sometimes rude. My father is a lawyer. He is mad about sport. He is athletic and brave. His hobbies are karate and swimming.

My sister's name is Olga. She is 17 years old. Olga is a beautiful girl. She has large blue eyes, a small nose and curly blond hair. My sister is sociable, creative and friendly, but sometimes she is very shy. Olga likes listening to music and playing the guitar when she has free time. My sister also can sing well. She is going to become an actress.

My brother's name is Oleg. He is 13. He is 5 years older than my sister. Oleg is neither tall nor short and non-athletic. He has short dark hair, brown eyes and thin lips. My brother is curious, independent and rarely talkative. His hobby is playing computer games. He wants to be a computer programmer.

I am Nina. I am the youngest in the family, because I am only 8 years old. I study in the 2-nd form. I think I am a nice girl. I am polite, obedient and quiet. Sometimes I can be naughty of course. I am keen on (like) dancing. I am going to be a professional ballet-dancer.

So my family is hospitable and warm. We have got many friends and spend much time together. We arrange parties and picnics at weekends. Sometimes we go to the theater on Sundays or watch TV at home in the evenings. We are a close and caring family, I even can say we are an ideal family. I love all my relatives very much.
