My Hobby

Good morning! My name is Кsyusha. I am 13. I am in the 6 th form. I go to school 19 in Dimitrovgrad. Tastes differ. Different people like different things, different people have different hobbies. Many people can spend your free time in different way. They can read books, take photos, listen to music. A lot of my friends are very active and they like to go swimming and dancing, to play football, another prefer to spend your free time surfing the Internet and playing computer games for hours and hours.

I think the best teachers are my parents. They are at home. But at school these are my teachers!!! I have got a lot of favourite teachers at school, they don`t only teach their subjects, but they develop their pupils' intellect, their attitudes to life and to other people.

As for me, I am interested in foreign languages such as Russian-it`s my native language, English- it`s my first foreign language and Spanish- it`s my second foreign language. Learning a foreign language isn't an easy thing. I study them, but it's a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and efforts. The great German poet Goethe once said, «He, who knows no foreign language, doesn't know his own one ». I think, that to know English today is absolutely necessary for every educated man. That is why it is very important to have a good teacher. I am very grateful to my English teacher. Miss Liliya Victorovna is an attentive and a good teacher. She is the person I loved best at school, because our English lessons are very interesting. At the lesson we often learn by heart the dialogues, new words and play different games. We also like our English - paties. We can sing, tell poems and dance. I like taking part in these parties! I like my teacher very much! English and Russian languages are at school, but at home I am fond of Spanish.

In my free time I like doing sport, because sport is my life! Sport makes people healthy, keeps them fit, more organized and better disciplined. Different sports and games are popular with my classmates. We do different kinds of sport, such as gymnastics, boxing, ice-hockey, football, basketball, volleyball. And now a few words about our physical training lessons. We have them 3 hours a week. In winter our lessons are held out-of-doors. We often go skiing. When it is cold outside, our lessons are held indoors, in our school-gym. We play different team-games such as basketball or volleyball. It is interesting to visit lessons, because sport helps to stay in good shape. It is known, a sound mind is in a sound body.

At the weekend I like relaxing alone. The embroidering helps me to relax in the evening and forget about everything. My interest in this craft started when I was a little girl. I saw my mother embroidering and I tried to master the skill myself. Then I went to school and at the lessons I improved my skills. I have got a lot of pictures: animals and insects. Sometimes I give my best pictures to my best friends or relatives. You can see them here.

Music is also part of my life! At school I visit the music-group «Konfetti». I like singing and take places in different school-parties. I am found of pop music. My life consists of interesting facts, that`s why I enjoy it every minute!!!
