Урок по теме «How to protect the environment» (7 класс)

Цели урока:

Обучающие: систематизировать лексические, грамматические знания и совершенствовать речевые умения и навыки учащихся по теме «Защита окружающей среды».

Развивающие: развивать способности

- логически излагать содержание высказывания,

- формулировать выводы по прочитанному материалу,

- самостоятельной работы.

Воспитательные: формировать

- уважительное отношение к природе,

- чувство сопричастности к проблемам экологии,

- любовь и бережное отношение к окружающей среде.

Оборудование: индивидуальные листы с текстами и с заданиями по теме «Защита окружающей среды»; учебник Кауфман К.И., Кауфман М.Ю. "Happy English.ru" для 7 класса;

ХОД УРОКА


  1. Организационный момент.

  1. Приветствие. Мотивация учащихся, постановка задачи. Речевая зарядка

T: Good morning, pupils. Sit down, please. How are you? I hope you are fine.

T: As you remember Misha, Rob and their friends got to their favourite campsite, but they can't stop there. Look at the picture and say why?

P: Somebody started a forest fire.

Somebody polluted the water, killed the fish.

Somebody left litter.

Somebody cut down the trees.

T: That's right, because the environment is polluted. And today we continue speaking about the environment pollution. The problem of our lesson is the global situation in ecology and what can we do with it. We are going to discuss how we can help the environment. What must we do to help the environment and what promises will we do?

You will get the pictures of rivers, seas, oceans, forests and animals and it will mean that you save them, and the more pictures you have got, the better marks you will get.


  1. Фонетическая зарядка:

T: But first of all let's train our tongue. Look at the blackboard and find the words with sounds [w], [r], [h]. Come to the computer and select the words with these sounds. (Работа с компьютером. Дети выходят и выбирают слова с этими звуками.) Test Ex. 4 ОП

T: But to speak the environment pollution we should revise the words of the last lesson and check up your homework to learn the words and will know new words at the same time. Unit 4 Ex.1 ОП


  1. Введение новой грамматики по теме «Артикль»

T: All these words are about the environment. What is the environment?

P: Окружающая среда

T: That's right. Окружающая среда у нас единственная в своем роде, поэтому с этим словом употребляется определенный артикль the, а еще какие слова вы знаете, которые являются единственные в своем роде?

T: For example, the sky, the world, the atmosphere, the ground, а также артикль the употребляется с названиями планет the sun, the moon, the Earth, кроме Mars, Venus, Jupiter.


  1. Первичная отработка нового грамматического материала

T: Look at the screen and say to put or not to put the article. Test Ex. 3 ОП

  1. Работа в группах

  • T: What does the word «environment» mean to you? You will work in a group and should answer this question. You'll get words. Choose necessary words. (Раздаются слова на 2 группы) Ex.4 p.64 Book

  • T: When we say the Earth is in danger, what exactly is in danger? (Раздаются слова на 2 группы) Ex.5 p.64 Book

  1. Listening

T: Why are they in danger?

P: Because people pollute the Earth.

T: But our characters of our book Misha, Rob, and their friends are cleaning the place and writing a song. Listen to it and number the words in the order you hear them Unit 4 L.2 Ex.7 Запись

What mustn't or must you do with the environment? How do you protect the environment?

Why mustn't we drop any litter?

Why mustn't we cut down our forests?

Why must we save the rivers?

Why mustn't we kill animals, birds and fish?

Let's do a conclusion and say what is good for environment and what is bad for environment? Look at the blackboard and find the phrases matching the heading.
