Урок английского языка в 7 классе

Тема: «Countries, nationalities, languages»

Задачи:

1. Развивать устную речь по теме.

2. Актуализировать грамматические навыки по темам « Пассивный залог», « Употребление артикля перед географическими названиями».

Оборудование: Диск с презентацией и слайдами США, Великобритании, России; аудиокассета к учебнику Биболетовой М.З. «Enjoy English» для 7 класса.

Ход урока.

1. Орг. момент. Приветствие. Объявление темы урока.

Учитель: Good morning ! Today we'll speak about countries, nationalities, languages and about learning foreign languages. There are the representatives of 3 countries: the USA, the UK and Russia. Please, meet them!

2. Представление команд.

3. Фонетическая зарядка. Учащиеся хором повторяют за учителем только те географические названия, которые употребляются с артиклем.

1-я команда: the USA, the Great Lakes, the Niagara Fall, the Alps, the Mississippi.

2-я команда: the Russian Federation, the Amazon, the Urals, the English, the Pacific.

3-я команда: the Neitherlands, the North, the UK, the Houses of Parliament, the Black Sea.

4. Речевая зарядка. Agree or disagree.

Spain is in Europe. The USA is in Australia. Russia is the biggest country in the world. Sidney is the capital of Australia. Italy is not in Asia. In Australia people speak German. The Russians are hospitable and friendly. In Canada people speak only English. French is the most popular language in the world. The role of English is very important nowadays.

5. Аудирование. Listen to the tape recorder and guess what country these people are from.

6. Tell about your countries. Представители каждой из команд рассказывают о своей стране, используя презентацию.

7. Do you know the geography of the countries?

Guess what country it is.

• It is washed by the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans.

• It is situated in the British Isles.

It was discovered by Columbus.

• It was named after Amerigo Vespuci.

• It is ruled by the Queen Elizabeth and the Parliament.

• Long ago its towns were surrounded by the great forests.

8. Музыкальная пауза.

9. Do you like listening to English and American pop singers? Do you want to understand the words of their songs?

10. What is the most popular language in the world? Why do people learn English? Each team should give 3 reasons.

11. Why do you learn English? Give your own reasons for learning English. Do you want to improve your English and what do you do for it? Дети составляют мини-диалоги.

12. Развитие письменных навыков. Rewrite the sentences using the Passive Voice.

1. People speak English all over the world.

2. Students in the majority Russian schools learn English.

3. Some British students learn Russian.

4. Businessmen write their letters in English.

5. American and British companies produce films in English.

13. Подсчет баллов. Выставление оценок.

14. Подведение итогов.
