"The weather. Seasons"

План-конспект урока по английскому языку в 4-м классе по теме «Времена года и погода. Развитие лексических навыков»(УМК «Brilliant» для 4-го класса, авторы учебника Ю.Ф. Комарова, И.В.Ларионова). Unit 7. «Do you draw pictures?»

Цели урока: -формирование лексических навыков говорения, развитие умения читать с общим охватом содержания;cсовершенствование навыков аудирования, письма и грамматических навыков.

- развитие способности к догадке ( по картинкам), решению речемыслительных задач: соотнесение, объяснение;

- воспитание любознательности , познавательных потребностей .

Оснащение урока: компьютер, интерактивная доска, магнитофон с записями, слайдовая презентация сигнальные карточки.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, my dear boys and girls! How are you? Get ready for the lesson. I am very glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let's begin the English lesson.

II. Речевая подготовка.

Teacher:

1. What is the date today?

2. What day of the week is it today?

3. What is your favourite season ? What season is it now?

4. How many seasons do you know? Name them.

5. How many seasons are there in a year?

6. What season is the coldest?

7. What season is the hottest?
   (Дети отвечают на вопросы.)
   III.Формирование лексических навыков говорения.

Слайды 1-4
- Open your books p.64. ex.11. Listen and point. Remember the new words.

- What are the names of the month ?

- What is the weather like in spring? In summer ? in winter ? in autumn?

Автоматизация употребления в речи новой лексики.

Ex.12 p. 64 Answer the question.
IV. Актуализация знаний учащихся, совершенствование речевых навыков.

- How many seasons are there in a year? Name them. What is your favourite season of the year? Why? Look at the pictures and listen to the riddles, then match them. Be more attentive this time. (Слайд 5)

Загадки не должны соответствовать номерам картинок.

1 This is the season,

When children ski

The snow is falling

The ground is white

All day and all night! (Winter)

What season is it?

- Who likes winter, put your hands. Do you like to play hockey in winter? What are winter months?

2 This is the season,

When snowdrops bloom,

When nobody likes

To stay in the room.

This is the season,

When birds make their nests,

This is the season,

We all like best. (Spring)

- Is it warm in spring? Do you play football in spring? What are spring months?

3 This is the season,

When fruit is sweet.

This is the season,

When school-friends meet. (Autumn)

- Do you like autumn? What is the weather like in autumn? What are the autumn months?

4 This is the season,

When nights are short,

And children have plenty

Of fun and sport.

Boating, swimming

All day long,

Will make us well and strong (Summer)

- What season is it? Who likes summer, put your hands. Do you play football in summer? Is it hot in summer? Do you go to the river in summer? What are the summer months?

V.Физкультминутка.

Wind is blowing, (дети поднимают руки вверх и покачиваются)

Wind is blowing (дети делают наклоны влево и вправо)

Wind is blowing,

Wind is blowing

Day and night, ( на слове "day"дети улыбаются и подпрыгивают)

Day and night! ( на слове "night"дети закрывают глаза) (Слайд 6)

VI .Совершенствование речевых навыков.

- Look at the display. What is the weather like at these pictures? (сказать какая погода изображена на слайдах) (Слайд №7-13)

- What season is it at the picture? (Слайд № 14-19)

- Read the sentences and say "true" or "false" Show your signal cards. Green card is "true», red card is "false". (Слайд 20)

1 There are 28 days in December. 2 There are 5 seasons in a year.3 Winter is the coldest season of the year. 4 Autumn is a "tasty" season. 5 There are 12 months in a year. 6 There is a lot of fruits in autumn. 7 Summer is the hottest season. 8 In summer the days are short. 9 In winter there is a lot of snow.
