Урок английского языка в 5 классе по теме «Мир профессий»

По УМК "Enjoy English" М.З.Биболетова, Н.В.Добрынина, Н.Н.Трубанева.

Тип урока - закрепление изученного лексического и грамматического материала по теме "Черты характера", введение новой лексики по теме "Профессии".

Цели:

развивающий аспект - развитие памяти и внимания, развитие навыков неподготовленной монологической речи на основе изученного материала, развитие языковой догадки, формирование умения учащихся работать в группе;

учебный аспект - активизация лексических и грамматических навыков по теме "Профессии и черты характера", совершенствование навыков выразительного чтения стихотворения, повышение мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, тренировка учащихся в аудировании;

воспитательный аспект - воспитание положительного отношения и уважения к людям различных профессий;

Оборудование: Компьютер, проектор и экран, учебник.

Формы, методы и приёмы работы:

- фронтальная работа,

- коллективная работа,

- индивидуальная работа,

- работа в парах,

- решение проблемных ситуаций,

- рефлексия деятельности учащихся.

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационный момент. (1-2 мин.)

- Good morning, children! (Good morning, our teacher!)

- I am glad to see you. Take your seats, please.

- What date is it today? (Today is the… of March.)

- What is the weather like today? (It is ….)

2. Фонетическая зарядка. (3-4 мин)

- Children, do you remember English sounds? Let's repeat.

[s] - sportsman, stupid, dentist;

[v] - clever, vet, loving;

[p] - player, postman, pupil;

[r] - rude, driver, librarian;

[m] - modern, impolite, computer programmer;

[z] - close, pleasant, businessman;

[k] - curious, creative, caring;

[ai] - writer, guide, driver.

- Thank you, children. Good for you.

3. Речевая разминка. ( 7-8 мин)

1. Now look at the blackboard, you can see the crossword .Your hometask was to revise the adjectives. Now complete the crossword with the traits of character, there are 11 words in it, translate them from Russian into English. If you do this task correctly you'll be able to read the topic of our lesson.

Дети по очереди выходят и переводят с русского на английский слова-прилагательные, записывают их в кроссворд. Таким образом в выделенной строке учащиеся читают слово - тему урока «Professions».

T: Today we shall revise the traits of character and learn some new professions.

4. Введение новой лексики по теме "Профессии".

1. Повторение уже изученной лексики по теме «Профессии». (10мин)

T: Now let's revise the jobs that we already know.

На экране картинки с различными профессиями и подписями к ним. Дети повторяют за учителем: a librarian, a dentist, a nurse, an office worker, a computer programmer, a lawyer, a vet, a housewife.

T: Well done, children. Now look at the screen, let's read what this person does and guess his or her profession.

1. A person who gives us the books we need. (a librarian.)

2. When you have problems with your teeth you must see him / her. (a dentist.)

3. A woman who helps the doctor to cure sick people in the hospital. (a nurse.)

4. A person who is dressed in a dark suit and a white shirt in any office. (an office worker.)

5. A person who is crazy about computers and writes his own programmes. - (a computer programmer.)

6. A person who knows about social problems and learns a lot of laws. (a lawyer.)

7. A person who helps sick animals. (a vet.)

8. A woman who is at home the whole day cleaning the house, cooking and looking after children. (a housewife.)

После прочтения каждого предложения на экране появляется его текст и затем после ответов учеников правильный вариант.

2. Введение новой лексики. (10 мин)

T: Well, I can see that you know many words for professions. Do you want to learn some new words? Look at the pictures, read the words and repeat after me please. A car mechanic, a pilot, a barber, a postman, a lifeguard, an astronaut, a policeman, an actor, a writer, a chef, a waiter. Учитель вывешивает на доску карточки с новыми словами.

Do you remember our poem « What are you going to be»? Let's recite it all together.

What are you going to be?

What are you going to be?

I'll be a teacher,

That's the life for me.

What are you going to be?

What are you going to be?

I shall be a fireman,

That's the life for me.

T: Now you can make your own poem about your future profession. You should only change the occupation. You may use the new words. Дети рассказывают стихотворение о своей будущей профессии.

5. Физкультминутка. (2 мин)

- Are you tired? Let us do simple physical exercises for our health. Repeat after me.

. Clap, clap, clap your hands,

Clap your hands together.

Step, step, step your feet,

Step your feet together.

6. Закрепление материала. (17 мин)

1. Тренировка диалогической речи.(7 мин)

- Now let's play a little. Work in pairs. Imagine that one of you is a correspondent. Ask your classmate about him/her and his/her future profession. If it's necessary, look at the blackboard. We start out talk with "Hello" and finish with "Bye". Don't forget about the words "Thank you" and "Please". (На доске подсказка для детей (возможные вопросы)):

- Hello! (Hello!)

- What is your name? (My name is…)

- How old are you? (I am ten.)

- Have you got any brothers or sisters? (Yes, I have./No, I haven't.)

- What do your parents do? (My mother is a… My father is a…)

- What are you going to be? (I am going to be a…)

- Thanks a lot! Bye. (Bye.)

Дети рассказывают свои диалоги по очереди.

2. Развитие навыков аудирования. (10 мин)

Now we'll listen to a song « People in my town». Look at your desks. You can see the text of this song but some words are missed. Listen to the song, look at the screen and try to complete the gaps. We'll listen twice.

Дети просматривают тексты, лежащие у них на столах, слушают песню с опорой на текст на экране в клипе этой песни и заполняют пропуски. Затем работа проверяется чтением текста по цепочке и пробуем спеть все вместе.

7. Рефлексия ( 1 мин)

- Well-done, it was a very informative lesson today. Now you have learnt a lot of occupations and characteristics of different people.

8. Итог урока. (3 мин)

Учитель оценивает работу учащихся, выставляя некоторым ученикам отметки.

T: Your hometask is to learn new vocabulary and to translate our song from English into Russian.

The lesson is over. Thank you. Good bye, children! (Good bye, our teacher!)
