-Good afternoon, dear guests and students! I'm glad to see all of you today. Let's start our party. Today we'll talk about the life of famous people of Great Britain.

P1-Yes ,you are right.Today we are going to speak about the life of famous writers,musicians and scientists and about their works.

There are many outstanding people in Great Britain.
Britain produced statesmen, thinkers, explorers, musicians, writers, scientists and other people who are well known around the world

Today we continue speaking about the UK and its famous people. First of all, let's warm up and answer the questions about the country we're talking about

• What is the official name of the country, which we call Great Britain?

• Who is the queen of the UK?

• What is the official Queen's home in London?

• What is the capital of the UK?

• What river is London situated on?

• He was born on the 23rd of April in 1564 in Stratford-on-Avon.

• His father John Shakespeare was a glove maker, his mother Mary Arden was from a wealthy and responsible family.

The titles of his most famous plays? "Romeo and Juliet" , "Hamlet,

Prince of Denmark" , "Othello"

• He wrote 154 sonnets.

• He died on the 23rd of April in 1616 in Stratford-on-Avon.

Walter Scott.

• He was born on the 15th of August in 1771 in Edinburgh.

• Scott's father was a lawyer, his mother was a daughter of a physician.

• Scott's first book "The Chase, and William, and Helen" was written in 1796.

• He died on the 21st of September in1832 in Abbotsford, Scotland.

• Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller

• Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller was born on 15 September 1890 in England.

• 

• She invented HerculePoirot and Miss Marple, the most famous detectives.

• Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller died on 12 January 1976.

Michael Faraday

• Faraday (Faraday), Michael (1791-1867), British physicist, founder of the doctrine of the electromagnetic field, a foreign honorary member of the Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1830).

• Faraday was born to a blacksmith. Backsmith was his older brother, Robert, is strongly encouraged craving for knowledge and Michael at first supported him financially.
