План-конспект урока

Цель урока: формировать навык устной речи по теме и лексико-грамматических умений при выражении своего мнения о роли телевидения в современной жизни.

Задачи: Обучающие

Способствовать:

  1. Активизации лексики по теме «Телевидение».

  2. Развитию лексических и грамматических навыков в устной речи, чтении по данной теме.

  3. Формированию навыков аудирования по теме: «Виды ТВ- программ».

  4. Формированию монологической и диалогической речи по теме, умения выражать своё мнение.

  5. Развитию умений поискового вида чтения.

Развивающие

Способствовать:

1. Развитию умения анализировать изученную

информацию; умения выражать и анализировать свое мнение относительно темы урока.

2. Развитию памяти.

3. Развитию мотивации к изучаемой теме.

Воспитательные

Способствовать:

1.Воспитанию уважения к мнению других людей, формирования умения вести беседу, диалог, соблюдать речевой этикет.

Режим работы: фронтальный, индивидуальный, парный.

Ход урока

  1. Организационный момент

Good morning, dear pupils! At our previous lesson we spoke about the role of television.

Today we're going to discuss advantages and disadvantages of TV and TV programmes and we'll talk about your favourite channels and programmes, about your TV habits. At the end of our lesson you should say about advantages and disadvantages of TV. I hope you'll take an active part in the lesson.


  1. Речевая зарядка. (фронтальный режим работы)

- I'm going to ask you some general questions on TV, your TV habits. In Britain about 95% of homes have a TV. Children aged between 11-16 watch TV 3 hours a day. What about you? How long and when do you watch TV? Do you watch it alone or with your parents, brothers, sisters, friends? (I watch TV 2-3 hours a day. I usually watch it after school. I like watching TV with my sister.)

- Why do you watch TV? Why do people watch TV? (I watch TV to learn news, see nice pictures, get some information.)

-Where do you usually watch films ? ( )

- What are your favourite TV- channels and programmes? (My favourite TV-channel is "Discovery". I like documentaries and talk shows.)

-What programmes /films does your mother/ father like? When do your parents watch

TV? (My motherlikes soap operas and my father prefers news and sports programmes. They watch TV in the evening.)

- Have you got a satellite TV? (Yes, I have/ No, I haven't.)

Teacher: You will hear three extracts from TV programmes. You should name the type of programme.

5. Монологическая и диалогическая речь по описанию своих любимых телепрограмм, фильмов, выражение отношения к телевидению. (Представление своих любимых телевизионных передач в виде мини-проектов, презентаций.)

6.Развитие умения диалогической речи в рамках изучаемой темы.

- Now you should make up your own dialogue. Take the cards with the tasks, please.

( A: What is your favourite TV programme?

B: As for me, I enjoy watching TV very much, especially different quizzes. That's why my favourite TV programme is "Who wants to be a millionaire?" I find this programme clever and informative and try not to miss it.

A: When does your favourite TV programme begin?

B: At 8 p.m. on Fridays.

A: Do your relatives watch the programme with you?

B: Yes, they do.

A: What is more interesting to watch: a film or cartoon?

B: I like to watch cartoons, because they help us to relax after hard day at school. I think cartoons make people kinder.

A:What is your favourite cartoon?

B: My favourite cartoon is "Madagascar"

A: Why do you like it?

B: It is really wonderful and amusing.)

7. Рефлексия.

1)-What is the role of TV in our life?

Учащиеся высказывают своё мнение, делают вывод по теме.

(So, Television plays a very important role in people's lives. It's a wonderful source of information and one of the best ways to spend free time. TV channels show a great variety of programmes: documentaries, feature films and comedies, soaps, concerts and talk shows. It gives you an opportunity to travel all over the world, to see different people and to learn about their customs and traditions. It also helps to escape from our everyday problems.

Of course, not everything shown on TV is made in good taste. There are badly-written programmes that contain unnecessary bad language and violence. Another thing I would like to complain about is the amount of smoking in the films that are shown on TV. Smoking is often shown as a very "cool" thing to do, making young people take up smoking themselves. Many people admit that the quality of television could be better. Some people say that television is a terrible waste of time. Of course, there are TV addicts who can't drag themselves away from the box.

But if we watch TV for an hour a day, to find out what is happening in the world or to relax, then television is really useful.)
