Тема урока: "Past Simple"

Цель: Развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

Задачи:

Практические:

  • Тренировка произносительных навыков учащихся;

  • Формирование и развитие грамматических навыков

  • Развитие навыков чтения;

Воспитательные:

  • воспитывать культуру общения в разных видах коллективного взаимодействия.

Развивающие:

  • развивать у учащихся языковую догадку, память, внимание;

  • развивать у учащихся интерес к изучению английского языка;

Оборудование: компьютер; медиапроектор; интерактивная доска; компьютерная презентация с материалом урока; раздаточный материал.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент

T: Good morning, boys and girls.
P-s: Good morning.
T: I'm glad to see you. How are you?
P-s: I'm fine, thanks and how are you?

(учащиеся задают этот вопрос друг другу)
T: Sit down, please.

II. Ход урока

1. Cообщение целей и задач урока.

T: Today we are going to visit the town of the Past Simple. It's a very beautiful town. Who lives in this town? Look! These are funny gnomes. What are their names? Their names are Ted, Jack, Tim and Ben. They are nice, kind and friendly. They will show us the town. We shall learn some grammar rules, do exercises, sing songs and play games at the lesson.

2. Фонетическая зарядка (Слайд 1)

T: Look! These are the names of the streets. Listen and repeat. (Читает. Ученики повторяют хором, затем по одному).

T: А как вы думаете, почему оно звучит по-разному? (Ученики объясняют правило).

Т: А теперь я раздам вам карточки с разными формами неправильных глаголов. По моей команде "One, two, three, start!" вы должны найти своих товарищей и встать по трое.

T: Read the text and find irregular verbs in it.

  1. Mary got up at 7 o'clock yesterday. She washed her face and cleaned her teeth. Then she had breakfast. She took her bag and went to school.

  2. Jane came home at 2 o'clock yesterday. She had dinner. Then she cleaned her room. She did her homework. Then she played games.

  3. My mother came home from work at 6 o'clock yesterday. She cooked supper. Then she watched TV. She read a book. She went to bed at 10 o'clock.

III. Физминутка

T: Let's have a rest and sing song "The whale" (p.54 еx.14, p.57 ex.22) and dance. (песенка на слайдах)

Last month I caught a whale alive.

Six, seven, eight nine, ten,

Then I let it go again!

Why did you let it go?

IV. Построение утвердительных, отрицательных и вопросительных предложений в Past Simple

1. T: Let's change the sentenсes aссoгding to the model. Гномы очень трудолюбивые. Целый день они трудятся в своей мастерской и переделывают предложения из Present в Past. (Слайд 6)

They skate in the yard every day.

They skated in the yard yesterday.

The weather is fine today.

The weather was fine yesterday.

We go to the park every day.

We went to the park yesterday.

I see my friend and his mother.

I saw my friend and his mother.

Children have five classes every day.

Children had five classes yesterday.

2.T: Тry to make these sentenсes nеgative. Гномик Тим очень любит похвастать. Давайте не согласимся с ним. (Слайд 7)

Образец: I watched TV at night.

You didn't watch TV at night.

I washed my hands and face ten times.

You didn't wash your hands and face ten times.

I played chess with a champion.

You didn't play chess with a champion.

I helped my friends to do their homework.

You didn't help your friends to do their homework.

I cleaned my teeth three times.

You didn't clean your teeth three times.

3.T: Now make questions from these sentenсes. (Слайд 8)

Образец: I watched TV at night.

I washed my hands and face ten times.

Did you wash your hands and face ten times?

I played chess with a champion.

I helped my friends to do their homework.

Игра в мяч. Учитель задает ученикам общие вопросы, кидая по очереди мяч. Ученики дают краткий ответ "Yes, I did" или "No, I didn't".

4. - Did you draw the day before yesterday?

4.T: У наших гномов есть помощники What, Where, When, Who, How, Why. Ask questions, please. (Слайд 9)

V. Подведение итогов.

T: So, today we have learnt some grammar rules, poems and a song about Past Simple Tense. You've read the text and you've tried to ask the questions. Your home task is: try to fill in the gaps p.62 ex.2; learn irregular verbs by heart; read irregular verbs. (Слайд 10)
