Сountable nouns are things that we can count. They`ve got a plural form.

  • For example: a dog- two dogs a boat- some boats

Uncountable nouns are thinks that we can`t count. ( music, water, bread, information).

We use some/ any with these nouns. They haven`t got a plural form.

  • For example: I`d like some advice

Have we got any milk

Some nouns can be countable or uncountable.

(lemonade, coffee, cheese, chicken)

Countable: I`d like two lemonades, please.

(two cans/glasses of lemonade)

Uncountable: I`ll buy some lemonade for the party.

If nouns ending -ch, -sh, -s, -x, we put -es
