Цели:

• повторить пройденный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке при помощи игр и конкурсов;

• подвести итог проведенной учебной работе на данном этапе обучения английскому языку;

• повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls, teachers and guests! I am very glad to meet you at our

English ABC party.

1. Звучит мелодия песенки «АВС». На середину класса выходит учитель:

Good morning, dear children!

I am an English ABC

I have letters from A to Z.

I can read and I can write

I can do all what you like.

We have a holiday today, the ABC party

We shall sing, we shall dance

We shall speak and read at once!

Now you know all letters well

You can read them and spell!

Назовите десятую и двадцать пятую буквы алфавита. E, T

Сколько букв и звуков в слове plate? 5, 4

Назовите три последние буквы. X, Y, Z

Сколько гласных букв в алфавите? Назовите их. 6 (A, E, I, Y, O, U)

Какая буква стоит в алфавите раньше Q или M? L

3. "Говорящие буквы" (буквы, которые звучат как некоторые слова).

Какая буква "приносит" мед? ( B - bee)

Какую букву вы "пьете" каждый день? ( T - tea)

Какая буква является вопросительным словом? (Y - why)

Назовите буквы-местоимения. ( I - I, U - you)

Какая буква всегда "восклицает"? ( O - oh)

4. "Отгадай загадки"

4. " Назови и покажи букву ". Ученик подходит к алфавиту и показывает, названную учителем букву, а затем называет, показанную учителем букву. (10 букв)

5. " Игра Sit " Дети ,двигаясь вокруг стульев ,выполняют команды учителя:go ,run ,jump ,fly ,swim ,count ,sing ,dance ,read ,draw.При команде :sit ,дети должны сесть на стулья. Ученики ,оставшийся без стула, выходит из игры.

7. "Конкурс английской скороговорки"

A fat cat sat on a mat and ate a fat rat.

8. "Секретное донесение" (каждая цифра - это номер буквы в алфавите).

Ведущий праздника благодарит и награждает всех участников праздника сладкими призами и предлагает попрощаться с английским алфавитом.
