1. Обучение диалогической речи по теме «Участие в конкурсе».

2. Активизация лексических навыков.

3. Совершенствование навыков устной речи.

Оборудование: карточки со словами для фонетической разминки; наборное полотно.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

• Good afternoon, boys and girls. It's a lovely day today, isn't it?

• How are you?

• Who is absent?

• Who is on duty today?

• Who can tell me what day it is today?

• We shall learn to act out the dialogues and find out if you and your friends would like to take part in the competition or not and why.

2. Фонетическая разминка

• You can see some words on the blackboard. Will you read them aloud, in a whisper? Let's read them after Kate.

Учитель привлекает внимание детей к карточкам со словами, которые заранее выставляются на наборном полотне. Ученики читают слова хором и по одному, громко и шепотом, повторяют слова хором за одним учеником. Также учитель предлагает ученикам соотнести слова из первого и второго столбиков и составить словосочетания.

Учитель в быстром темпе задает вопросы и побуждает учащихся отвечать на них.

Nina, I'd like to ask you a question. (You are welcome. Wha would you like to ask me about?)

Do you want to visit English-speaking countries? (Yes, I do. \ want to visit Great Britain.)

Why would you like to visit this country? (I'd like to watch it interesting places and learn the English way of life.)

Kate, do you think that travelling can help you to improve your English? (I think so. Travelling is the best way to improvt my English.)

Andrew, have you ever taken part in the competition of Eng lish learners? (No, I haven't.)

Are you going to try your chance? (Yes, I am. I hope I'll be in luck.)

Is it possible to win the UNESCO competition? (In my opinion, it is possible but it is very difficult.)

Nick, do you agree with the statement that it's a chance in г million? (I agree with it.)

Helen, do you want to take part in the competition "We Live ^L' in the Same Planet" and find new friends ?(Yes, of course. I art going to take part in this competition and make new friends will teenagers from English-speaking countries.)

Can you describe yourself in five words? (I am creative, kind sociable, polite and a bit lazy.)

What is your motto? How do you see yourself in ten yean time?

IV. Проверка домашнего задания

- It's time to check up your homework and listen to your reading of the dialogues. Divide into pairs and read the dialogues fron exercise 2, page 7. Who is ready to start? Let's listen to you on< by one and choose the best readers of these dialogues.

Учитель организует проверку домашнего задания: один уче ник выходит к доске и записывает свои варианты ответов к упр. 2 стр. 7 из рабочей тетради. Запись на доске проверяется после прослушивания диалогов. Остальные учащиеся делятся на парь для чтения диалога, 2 минуты дается на повторение диалога, заслушивается чтение всех учащихся по парам. Установка II я всех учащихся - выбрать лучших чтецов диалогов.

1. Обучение диалогической речи по теме «Участие в соревновании»

You can read the dialogues very well. Now it's your turn to make up the dialogues. Discuss with your partner if you would like to take part in the Teenagers' Competition. The word combinations from exercise 4, page 7 will help you. Work in pairs, please. We shall listen to your dialogues in 5 minutes.

Учитель предлагает учащимся разделиться на пары для со- га плен и я диалогов по теме «Участие в соревновании». В качест- опоры ученики используют диалоги из упр. 2, стр. 7 и словосо- гания из упр. 4, стр. 7. Учащиеся выполняют задание в течение минут, а затем диалоги прослушиваются всем классом. Домаш- ее задние для учеников: выучить составленные диалоги.

Hello, Jack! Would you like to visit English-speaking countries.

Yes, of course. What ideas have you got?

I am going to take part in the Teenagers' Competition. If I 'in, I'll travel all over the world. Will you join me? It's a chance in million.

It's worth trying. The questions are not difficult and my Eng- sh is good. Besides, it is interesting to win something for nothing-

But there are too many participants. I hate losing.

Совершенствование навыков устной речи

3. Now we know that it is interesting to take part in the Teena ers' Competition and it is exciting to win it. If you want to be winner, you'll have to work hard and be successful. Let's re; the information about British teenagers from exercise 5, p ge 7 and compare them with Russian ones. Work in groups four and share your opinion, please. Let's listen to the group

Ученики делятся на группы по 3-4 человека для выполнен! упр. 5, стр. 7 из учебника. Сначала информация о британск] подростках зачитывается вслух, а затем начинается обсужден в группе. В конце урока учитель предлагает каждой группе озв чить свои идеи перед классом, а остальным учащимся вырази свое согласие или несогласие с утверждениями.
