Тема урока : FUNNY EASTER
Интегрированный урок - праздник в 6 классе.
Цель: развитие языковой компетенции, творческих способностей и интереса к предмету у учащихся.
Задачи:
Образовательный аспект:

Формирование коммуникативных умений учащихся на основе лингвострановедческих знаний, развитие умения воспринимать на слух и понимать краткие сообщения, использование интеграции предметов для повышения интереса к английскому языку, знакомство с обычаями и традициями англичан в сравнении их с родной культурой, расширение эрудиции учащихся, их лингвистического и общего кругозора.
Воспитательный аспект:

Формирование уважительного отношения к иной культуре, познавательной активности и потребности в практическом использовании языка, умения работать в команде.
Развивающий аспект:

Развитие у учащихся межкультурной компетенции, языковых, интеллектуальных способностей, ценностных ориентаций, чувств и эмоций, готовности к коммуникации.
Особенности урока: Урок проводится в два этапа и готовится совместно с учителем технологии. Учащиеся познают традиции и обычаи празднования пасхи на Руси. Задолго до этого готовят и проводят конкурс презентаций ( либо на уроке технологии можно использовать презентацию на русском языке, взятую из Интернета, которая прилагается) , изучают рецепты пасхальных блюд, выращивают травку. На втором этапе дети рисуют пасхальные куличи и разрисовывают яйца, изготавливают пасхальное дерево, готовят угощение, накрывают столы, украшают кабинет c учителями технологии и английского языка. Здесь же проводится урок - праздник, посвященный празднованию пасхи в Британии, где на сравнении двух культур учащиеся осознают их ценность.
Оборудование урока:
Компьютер, проектор, презентация в "Power Point", рисунки для конкурса, кроссворды-заготовки, пасхальное дерево.

ХОД УРОКА

1 . Warming- up
Приветствие сообщение о теме и характере работы на уроке.
Teacher:
-Good morning. Dear friends, today we are going to discuss some traditions of celebrating Easter in England.You have already learnt a lot about celebrating Easter in Russia. And now we'll tell you about English traditions. I want you to be very attentive at the lesson and in the end we'll discuss the most common traditions. Now I want you to look at the board and try to pronounce and remember new words.

2.Phonetic Drills.
T: Repeat new words after me:
Easter Bunnies, Eggs, Lambs, Ducks goddess of the dawn
The Cross
Jesus Christ
Resurrected (воскрес)
a box for charity
hot cross buns
Easter roll Easter hunt sin

3. Presentations by pupils.( Home task)

P1: Every country has its traditions . So many countries, so many customs. Some of them are very nice and funny. One tradition is Easter. The Christians celebrate it on the first Sunday after the full moon in spring. ( slide 1,2)

P2: Easter is a religious holiday. It has some symbols: The Cross, rabbits, eggs, chickens, ducklings. Jesus Christ, the son of God, was resurrected and the cross is a very important symbol. The egg is a symbol of a new life. The rabbit is an innocent animal, it is a symbol of Easter too.(slide 5,6)

P5:People buy new clothes on Easter. They believe this will bring good luck to them. (slide 10)
P6: Easter lasts for a week. The three most important days are Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. On Maundy Thursday, the king or a queen of England gives money to poor people. The tradition is very old. On Good Friday, people eat fish instead of meat. They also eat special hot cakes with a cross on the top. They call these cakes hot cross buns. On Easter Sunday, people eat a traditional roast dinner with lamb, potatoes and vegetables. They also give each other chocolate Easter eggs. ( slide 10)

4. Activities.
T : And today we can play funny Easter games too. They are called Easter Hunt and Easter Roll. Let's learn how to play and just do it. (slide 13)
We'll have two teams: " Bunnies" and "Ducklings". The first game is Eggs hunting- which team will find more hidden eggs?
The second game is the following. You are to roll the egg with the help of a spoon.
Whose egg will be the farthest to roll?
T: The next game is" Colour the picture ".You can see Easter symbols in these pictures. Colour them according to the task. You have three minutes to do it.

The children are yellow.
On lamb is white.
One lamb is black.
The bowl is orange.
The bunny is brown.

T :Ok .While our jury is making a decision , we can sing a song about Easter buns . There is a legend connected with Hot Cross Buns. Now, let's listen to it.
4. Project activity(рисованная инсценировка).
P9 : Один монах, путешествуя по стране набрел на очень бедную деревню. Приближалась пасха, а отметить ее было нечем. И тогда он напек много булочек, посыпал их сахаром в виде креста и предложил их в качестве угощения бедной семье. Мальчик по имени Джайлз отказался принять их как дар. Он сложил их в корзинку и отправился по деревне, распевая песенку. Люди покупали булочки, так как они были очень дешевые. Все деньги Джейзл принес монаху и сложил их в Poor box в церкви. На эти деньги были куплены подарки всем жителям деревни. Песня Hot Cross Buns стала популярной и появилась традиция жертвовать деньги бедным (for charity).

Easter in England.

People in England celebrate Easter every spring. Easter lasts for a week. The three most important days are Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
On Maundy Thursday, the king or queen of England gives money to poor people. This tradition is very old. On Good Friday, people eat fish instead of meat. They also eat hot cakes with a cross on the top. They call these cakes hot cross buns. On Easter Sunday ,people eat a traditional roast dinner with lamb, potatoes and vegetables. They also give each other chocolate Easter eggs.
Easter is fun for children. They often decorate real eggs in pretty colours or make colourful hats, called Easter bonnets. They can also have an Easter egg hunt outside. Parents hide Easter eggs in their gardens and the children try to find as many as they can and put them in their Easter basket. People tell their children that the Easter Bunny brings the eggs! Bunnies or rabbits are symbols of spring.
Easter is a wonderful celebration. It is lots of fun for all the family.

T Do you like English traditions? What British tradition do you like best of all? Now you know that every country has its customs. But Easter customs are very similar to our customs. You've learnt a lot about British traditions today. It's natural that different cultures have different customs and traditions. Each nationality has its own features. For example, the English are said to be very conservative, while the Russians are said to be generous and plain. But, from the point of view of religion, we all are creatures of our god, The Lord and Creator, that is why we have much in common. We should respect traditions of other countries and keep up your own ones.
