ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ

Автор сборника - А.В.Чмеленко, учитель английского языка в школе-гимназии №8, города Щучинска.

Сборник предлагает упражнения по английскому языку для различных возрастов.

Сборник будет полезен учителям, а так же и ученикам для формирования и совершенствования слухо-произносительных навыков. Материал данного сборника может быть использован учителям на различных этапах урока для формирования и совершенствования произношения.

Пособие содержит различные упражнения в активном слушании и в имитации английские скороговорки, песни, стихотворения, пословицы и поговорки, которые распределены в алфавитном порядке и по английским звукам. Так же дана артикуляция каждого английского звука.

Гласные звуки

Звук [e]

Рот слегка приоткрыт лишь слегка, губы растянуты или нейтральны, основная масса языка в передней части рта, а кончик у нижних зубов. Согласные перед ним не смягчаются.

Звуки [u] [u:]

Краткий английский звук. Произносится при чуть округленных губах, кончик языка опущен и отходит от нижних зубов, язык оттянут назад, его задняя часть приподнимается к передней части мягкого неба, но не так высоко и далеко, как при произнесении русского [У].

Звук произносится кратко, без напряжения.

Этот английский звук является дифтонгом. Он неодинаков на своем протяжении: начало его более открытое, чем конец.

При его артикуляции язык движется назад, от передних зубов, и несколько вверх. По окончании его артикуляции задняя часть языка высоко поднята к мягкому небу, губы округлены, но не вытянуты.

Звук произносится протяжно, напряженно.

Звуки [i] [i:]

Произносится кратко, отрывисто и легко, без всякого напряжения.

Положения языка подобно начальному положению языка при произнесении предыдущего звука, губы слегка растянуты или нейтральны.

Данный английский звук является дифтонгизированным монофтонгом (больше не буду писать таких слов). Это протяжный (долгий) звук.

А к длине звука относитесь очень серьезно: англичане прекрасно услышат, какой длины звук вы произнесли. Для них эта характеристика звука чрезвычайно важна так, как часто не только выдает «чужака», но и изменяет смысл слова на чрезвычайно неприятный как для говорящего, так и для слушающего.

Итак при произнесении данного звука, он как бы перемещается из глубины рта вперед и несколько вверх, к выходу, то есть состоит из двух похожих (но не одинаковых) звуков, плавно перетекая из одного в другой. По окончанию звука, средняя часть языка поднята высоко вверх.

Звуки [ɔ] [ɔ:]

Английский краткий, открытый звук. Произносится с чуть приподнятой верхней губой, а нижняя губа прилегает к зубам. Нижняя челюсть опущена вниз, низко лежит во рту, а его кончик удален от зубов

Чтобы научиться произнести этот звук следует резко приоткрыть рот, как для звука [А], но слегка округлив губы произнести звук [o].

При произнесении этого английского звука губы сильно округлены, но не вытянуты (в отличие от артикуляции русского звука [O]). Корень языка придавлен, кончик языка удален от зубов, нижняя челюсть немного опущена.

Звук произносится протяжно.

Звук [a:]

Этот английский звук протяжный, открытый. При его произнесении язык несколько оттянут назад от зубов и лежит низко во рту, а корень языка как бы придавлен (как при осмотре горла врачем), губы нейтральны, рот лишь чуть-чуть приоткрыт.

Звук [˄]

Звук краткий; язык занимает то же положение, как при молчании, однако задняя часть языка чуть приподнята к передней части мягкого неба; губы слегка растиснуты, расстояние между челюстями довольно большое.

Звук усеченный, произносится с небольшим напряжением.

Звук [ӕ]

Этот английский звук более открытый, чем предыдущий.

Средняя часть языка поднята, нижняя челюсть опущена, губы в нейтральном положении, спинка языка выгнута вперед, а его кончик прижат к нижним зубам.

Согласные перед этим английским звуком не смягчаются.

Звук [ǝ]

В безударном положении гласные, как в русском, так и в английском языке, укорачиваются и теряют свою четкость.

Этот звук невозможно правильно произнести отдельно от других звуков, так как он всегда является безударным.

Чтобы избежать ошибок при произнесении слов с этим звуком следует все усилие сосредоточить на ударной гласной.

Звук [ǝ:]

При произнесении этого английского звука тело языка приподнято, поверхность его плоская, губы напряжены и слегка растянуты, зубы обнажены, расстояние между челюстями небольшое.

Звук произносится ненапряженно.

Этот или близкий к нему звук англичане издают, когда во время разговора они не находят нужные слова.

Согласные звуки

Звук [b]

Губно - губный, взрывной смычный согласный звук.

При правильной артикуляции этого звука губы смыкаются, при этом перекрывая проход для воздуха, в легких создается небольшое избыточное давление, после чего, губы размыкаются, создавая направленный поток воздуха через несомкнутые губы. Звук - звонкий, то есть в его произнесении участвуют голосовые связки. Прорыв потоком воздуха препятствия, губами создает взрывную волну слышимую нами как звук [b]. В отличие от русского звука [В] английский звук [b] - более слабый.

Звук [d]

Переднеязычный (альвеолярный), взрывной смычный согласный звук.

При правильной артикуляции этого звука кончик языка касается альвеол, при этом перекрывая проход для воздуха, в легких создается небольшое избыточное давление, после чего, передняя часть языка опускается на исходное место, создавая направленный поток воздуха через несомкнутые губы. Звук - звонкий, то есть в его произнесении участвуют голосовые связки. Прорыв потоком воздуха препятствия, создаваемого кончиком языка, создает взрывную волну слышимую нами как звук [d]. В отличие от русского звука [Д] английский [d] является альвеолярным и более слабым.

Звук [f]

Губно - зубной шумный глухой согласный звук.

Называется так потому, что при его произнесении верхние зубы касаются края верхней губы. При правильной артикуляции этого английского звука язык округлен и его кончик касается верхнего края нижних зубов. Звук - глухой. Голосовые связки не участвуют в его произнесении. Английский звук [f] произносится более энергично, чем аналогичный ему русский звук.

Звук [g]

Заднеязычный, взрывной, смычный согласный звук.

При правильной артикуляции этого звука задняя часть языка прижимается к мягкому небу, перекрывая проход для воздуха, в легких создается небольшое избыточное давление, после чего, задняя часть языка возвращается на исходное место, создавая направленный поток воздуха через несомкнутые губы. Звук - звонкий, то есть в его произнесении участвуют голосовые связки. Прорыв потоком воздуха препятствия, создаваемого корнем языка, создает взрывную волну, слышимую нами как звук [g]. При правильной артикуляции этого звука задняя часть языка прижимается к мягкому небу, перекрывая проход для воздуха, как при произнесении английского звука [g] но мягкое небо при этом опущено, создавая проход выдыхаемому воздуху через носовую полость, что и делает этот звук носовым. Звук - звонкий, то есть в его произнесении участвуют голосовые связки. При произнесении этого звука, кончик языка непременно должен находиться возле нижних зубов, а передняя и средняя части языка не должны касаться неба. Звук произносится протяжно.
