Пояснительная записка.

Данный тест может быть использован для промежуточного и итогового контроля, также в качестве упражнений для формирования умений и навыков употребления и перевода временных форм глаголов в страдательном залоге при изучении и закреплении материала по теме «The Passive voice".Тест может быть применён на уроках в 8-9 классах общеобразовательных школ.

Variant 1.

Task 1. Choose the sentence with the verb in a form of the Passive Voice:

1. a) Wonderful discoveries of outstanding scientists have changed our life. b) Wonderful discoveries were made by outstanding scientists in the 20^th century.

2. a) The Declaration of Independence of the USA was signed by all the delegates of the Congress on the 4^th July, 1776. b) The delegates of the Congress signed Jefferson's Declaration of Independence after they had made some changes.

3. a) My cousin's classmates thanked him warmly for help. B) My cousin was thanked for help by his classmates.

4. a) People from all over the world can see the traditional palace architecture of the Forbidden City, enjoy its treasures. b) The Forbidden City, a public museum today, can be visited and seen by millions of tourists around the world.

Task 2. Open the brackets and choose the correct form of the verb:

Тask 3. Choose the correct variant of the translation:
