Kazakhstan is situated in the central Asia. It is an independent Republic. The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana. It is a very modern and beautiful city. The population of Kazakhstan is 16 million. There are 120 different nationalities live in Kazakhstan. All people of Kazakhstan have equal rights and duties. The territory of Kazakhstan is large. It borders on China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgystan. Kazakhstan has 14 regions, 84 cities.

The official state language is Kazakh. Russian is the language of international communication.

Independence day is celebrated on the 16th of December.
