Compere : Good afternoon, dear friends!

We will begin our party with the play "Tom Sawyer and Aunt Polly"

after the adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Tom Sawyer whitewashes the fence. Ben appears. He has an apple in his hand

Ben: What are you doing? Tom: I am whitewashing the fence.

Ben: Do you want to say you like it?

Tom: Of course, I do. Does a boy whitewash the fence every day?

Tom goes on washing. He doesn't look at Ben.
