Урок по английскому языку Фестивали

Цели:

Воспитательные:

  1. Воспитывать у учащихся толерантное восприятия мира;

  2. Воспитывать культуру поведения в общении через освоение норм этикета (написание писем).

Развивающие:

  1. Развивать творческие способности учащихся;

  2. Развивать способность к выбору выражений адекватных ситуациям общения;

  3. Развивать навыки чтения, говорения, аудирования и умения продуктивного письма;

  4. Работать над правильным произношением учащихся.

Познавательные:

  1. Продолжить детальное знакомство учащихся с разнообразием фестивалей по всему миру;

  2. Продолжать знакомить учащихся со структурой написания письма(пригласительный билет) .

Учебные:

  1. Развивать умения понимать детали сказанного, прочитанного, прослушанного.

  2. Развивать умения просмотрового и поискового чтения.

  3. Практиковать учащихся в использовании полученных знаний на предыдущих уроках

Оснащение: интерактивная доска, магнитофон, карточки, раздаточный материал (для выполнения краткосрочной письменной работы).

Ход урока

1. Приветствие и организационный момент начала урока.

T: Good morning boys and girls!

P: Good morning.

T: I'm very glad to see you. Sit down, please! So let's start our lesson today! And at the beginning, please, tell me who is on duty today?

P: I am on duty today.

T: OK…please tell me what date is it today?

P: Today is the __of November,2013.

T: Well, what day is it today?

P: Today is Friday.

2.Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Good, thank you! Sit down, please! Let's begin! Dear friends, today we are going to continue to speak about Festivals. And in our lesson today we'll try to remember all information about some festivals, we'll listen to the cassette and we'll try to find out what our main heroes Steve and Wendy will do at the festival. In our lesson we'll also make an invitation card and invite our friends on the festival you want. And at the end of the lesson we'll check up your homework. But first of all I'd like to revise the words about festivals. Look at the screen and repeat.

P: Fireworks, autumn, funny masks, flower hunt, snowball fight…

3. Речевая зарядка.

T: So, the title of our lesson today is "Festivals". You know, there are a lot of different festivals all around the world. So please, tell me what festivals do you know? Name them.

P: The Russian Winter Festival, the Doll Festival, the Moon Festival, etc.

T: Right you are. Now tell me please what people can do at different festivals?

P: Light fireworks, listen to the music, dance, eat delicious food, play different games, etc.

T: That'll do! Good of you!

4. Диалогическая речь. Работа в парах.

T: And now, work in pairs. Look at the screen and you have only one minute to repeat this dialogue and then dramatize it with your partner…. Stop, let's begin!

P1: Why don't we take part in flower hunt? I think it's fantastic.

P2: No, thanks. Why don't we make funny masks?

P1: Great! We'll make funny masks.

T: Well done! Thank you.

5. Аудирование.

T: Well, as we can see nowadays practically everyone has its own festival to take part in. You see that each festival has its particular distinctive features. Now, open your books, page 28,exercise 1. Let's read about the Russian Winter Festival, listen very attentively and try to answer the question what will Steve and Wendy do at the festival?

P-s: They'll….

T: That's right! Good of you!

6. Физкультминутка

T: OK. Well done. Most of you were very attentive pupils. Are you tired? Let's have a rest! Do you remember our little poem? Let's do our exercises. Stand up! Raise your hands! Be ready!

One, two, three, four,

Come in please and shut the door!

Five, six, seven, eight,

It's time for school, you are very late!

Nine, ten, nine, ten,

Don't be late for school again!

7.Чтение. Игра «Правда или ложь».

T: Excellent! Thank you for your help! So we continue our lesson, and we speak about festivals!

And now we are going to play the game that you know very well under the title "True or False".

So look at the screen, here we have some sentences, let me read them first:

  1. The Mayor of Moscow will open the Russian Winter Festival in London.

  2. People will listen to traditional Russian folk songs during the festival.

  3. The children will watch a puppet show.

  4. People will light fireworks and lights.

  5. The children will take part in a sack race and maze puzzles.

  6. People will taste traditional Russian food.

Now, your turn, please…start reading and tell me, children is it true or false?

8. Практика письменной речи.

  1. T: Now I'll give you an invitation cards. And your task will be to complete an invitation card. Look at the screen. You should to imagine your own festival in order to invite your best friend. You have to note the date of celebration, name of your guest, the activities that you and your guest can do there, and at the end you have to write your name. Is it clear? Any questions? Ok, let's begin to do this task and then check it up.

9. Проверка домашнего задания.

T: Good of you! Now it is the time to check up your homework! What was it?

P: To learn the poem by heart.

T: Ok, let's repeat altogether and start reading the poem.

10.Домашнее задание. Подведение итогов.

T: Our lesson is coming to the end and your home task for the next lesson is: exercise_____at page______in your activity books. Do these exercise properly. As for the lesson I like the way you worked today so that's why everybody gets excellent marks! Now, pupils, time is up. The lesson is over. You may be free. Have a rest. Goodbye!
