Цель: воспитательная-привлечь внимание к существующим экологическим

проблемам;

развивающая-учить работать в группе; внимательно относиться и

выслушивать мнение других;

учебная-- 1. практика аудирования, контроль понимания

прослушанного;

2. активизация лексического материала по теме;

3. практиковать учащихся в устной речи по теме, учить

высказывать свое мнение;

4. контроль навыков диалогической речи по заданной

ситуации;

5. работа с текстом '' The fragile planet''.

Оснащение урока: картинки- иллюстрации к идиомам о погоде; кассета с записью текстов для аудирования; магнитофон; карточки-задания.

Ход урока:

I этап: Приветствие. Проверка готовности учащихся к уроку.

Teacher: Good afternoon. Sit down, please. Glad to see all of you here. How

are you?

(etc. How do you do? How do you feel today? …)

Teacher: What a fine (nasty) weather we are having today, isn't it?

P1: Yes, it's nice and bright. / Yes, it's windy and cold today.

Teacher: Yes, but we'll weather the weather

для учителя-создание атмосферы иноязычного общения.

II этап: фонетическая зарядка: активизация ЛЕ и совершенствование фонетических навыков;

Teacher: Really? We spoke much about weather. What weather wits or

sayings do you remember?

P1: A sunshiny shower

Won't last an hour.

P2: Rainbow at night

Is the sailors delight.

Rainbow at morning,

Sailor, take warning.

P3: When the days begin to lengthen,

Task to group 1. Complete the weather wits you see on the blackboard (некоторые слова закрыты).

1. Flowers close up before a storm.

2. Wolves always howl more before a storm.

3. When small clouds join and thicken, expect rain.

4. If autumn leaves are slow to fall, prepare for a cold winter.

5. Birds on the telephone wire indicate the coming of rain.

Task to group 2. The same task to you. Try to do your best.

6. A warm Christmas-a cold Easter.

7. Birds flying low, expect rain and blow.

8. When ducks quack loudly, it's a sign of rain.

9. Open crocus warm weather, closed crocus, cold weather.

10. Cats scratch a post before wind, wash their faces before a rain, and sit with backs to the fire before snow.

Task to group 3. Match the parts of these weather wits together and read them aloud.
