Цели:

1. Общеобразовательные:

- развитие и совершенствование связных высказываний с использованием основных коммуникативных типов речи,

- развитие знаний и умений на основе творческого использования усвоенного материала в новых ситуациях общения по теме,

- тренинг употребления direct/indirect speech.

2. Развивающие:

- умение осуществлять межличностное и межкультурное общение, используя знания о национально-культурных особенностях страны изучаемого языка,

- развитие умений сопоставлять, сравнивать, высказывать свою точку зрения.

3. Воспитательные:

-воспитание уважительного, толерантного отношения к социально-культурному портрету Великобритании,

- развитие умения работать в группе,

Ход урока.

1. Начало урока. Оргмомент.

T-Cl:

Good morning!

Today we have an unusual lesson. The subject of our lesson is:''Britain and its people at a glance''.

We are going to speak about different points of GB: geography and political outlook, the British ways of life, education, literature in GB, London sightseeing and then review grammar material (Direct/Indirect speech)…

2. Введение в речевую практику.

Teacher: To start our tour over GB I ask you to remember some facts about English language.

If the fact is right you should say TRUE, if not FALSE.
