Have you ever been in any museum?

What museums do you know?

Where are they?

What are they famous for?

Мотивация: Презентация "Museums" (показ слайдов на фоне рассказа учителя о музеях)./

Рассказ учителя:

1)There are many different museums in the world. And in our country there are art museums in Moscow and Sankt-Petersburg.

2) In Moscow there is the famous art museum the State Tretyakov Gallery. It was founded by Pavel Tretyakov in 1856 and presented to Moscow in 1892. Pavel Tretyakov, a merchant by birth and an outstanding patron of Russian art, dedicated 40 years of his life to his main calling - the establishment of a national art museum. He supported many Russian painters and commissioned numerous paintings. He was particularly fond of Repin. There are many masterpieces of Surikov, Rublyov, Kustodiyev. One of pictures of Kustodiyev you can see here. It is "Shrovetide".

3) Here you can the Russian Museum, one of the famous museums in the world. It has a large collection of wonderful paintings by Russian and European artists. There is a beautiful work "Vityaz at the Crossroads" by Vasnetsov.

4) In the UK there are many museums too. For example, the National History Museum. It was opened in 1881 in London. It is famous throughout the world for its beautiful galleries. The Museum is also a very important research centre. Each year there are 1.7 million visitors to the Museum - a fifth are visitors from overseas.

5) The next museum is the Science Museum. There are the "hands-on" galleries where every exhibit is an experiment or demonstration to try for yourselves. There are the Exploration of Space, Land Transport, Ships, the Science and Art of Medicine and many others.

6) Would you like to visit a museum? Today we shall speak about some of them.

3. Проектная работа

Ученики должны создать презентацию на основе прочитанных на уроке текстах

Индивидуальные задания:

- кроссворды 3/4 (приложение 3, 4);

- тесты по теме (с опорой на текст).

Критерии оценки проекта:

организованность;

четкость работы;

правильность речи;

оформление.

Групповая работа с текстами.

Чтение по методу Ривина текстов о Британском музее и музее Игрушек. (приложение 7, 8, 9).

Поисковое и изучающее чтение текстов (ответы на вопросы).

Создание презентации (работа с компьютерной программой "PowerPoint"), используя заготовки и тексты (приложение 5, 6).

4. Презентация проектов (в режиме чтения).

5. Рефлексия. Итоги урока.
