Now and then it was made absolutely
That I left my native fields.
And the poplars won't bell over me so much
With their leaves, like with their wings.

My Little house became very gibbous,
My dog was aged and it was died.
On the maze of Moscow avenues
My Lord saw death and it was mine.

I love so much my elmy city,
And let it be flabby and senile
My Asia's gold and little dreamy
It's slept on the bells for a while

And at night when the Moon is shining
It is shining… God knows how!
Then I walk with my head little hanging
By the road to my lovely pub.

There's noise in this den of evil
But all over the night till the dawn
I 'll read poems to scarlet women
And with thugs alcohol will be done.

Heart is beating more often and clearly
And I'm talking out of place
I am gone as you are here
I won't be able to come back
