План-конспект открытого урока английского языка

по теме «Времена года» в 5 классе

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Тема: Seasons. Времена года.

Цели: систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Времена года» на английском языке.

Задачи:

- воспитательные: воспитание доброго отношения к природе, окружающим людям; умения выслушать другого, умения сотрудничать; формирование качеств человека XXI века (самостоятельность, активность, умение объективно оценивать свои достижения и успехи одноклассников);

- развивающие: развитие мышления, памяти, воображения учащихся; развивать интеллектуальные умения; формировать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;

- образовательные: обобщение, закрепление знаний учащихся;

- практические: совершенствование произносительных навыков; развитие навыков монологической и диалогической речи; использование лексико-грамматических структур при работе по теме (конструкции с глаголом can, Future Tense, придаточных предложений времени и условия, названия времен года, месяцев, дней недели, спортивных игр).

Оборудование: компьютерный класс, компьютер, проектор, презентация Microsoft Office PowerPoint, раздаточный материал в конвертах (картинки по временам года).

Ход урока

1. Оргмомент.

T. Good morning, boys and girls!

P. Good morning, good morning,

Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear teacher,

We are glad to see you!

T. I am glad to see you too! Sit down, please. How are you today? How is your mother (father, sister, brother)? What day of the week is it today? What day comes after Wednesday? What day comes before Wednesday? What is the date today?

P. Today is the 11th of March.

T. Name the words with this sound (игра «Вспомни слово»: дети вспоминают слова с каждым из этих звуков).

T. Do you remember the poem about the seasons? (учащиеся вспоминают ранее изученное стихотворение «Winter brings us snowflakes» слайд №3).

Winter brings us snowflakes,

Spring - green buds and shoots.

Summer brings us berries,

Autumn - golden fruits.

T. You are right. So, today we shall speak about …..

P. Seasons.

T. The theme of our lesson is "Seasons". Today we'll have an unusual lesson. We'll talk, recite poems, sing songs, play games. We'll see the beautiful pictures of our nature. We'll also speak about the seasons and the weather.

3. Актуализация знаний.

T. Let's sing the song (Данный этап урока идет с опорой на презентацию слайд №5). Дети поют песню.

Spring is green,

Summer is bright,

Autumn is yellow,

Winter is white.

T. What season is it now?

P. It is spring.

T. How many seasons are there in a year?

P. There are 4 seasons.

T. What are they?

P. They are: autumn, winter, spring, summer.

T. What season comes after spring?

P. Summer comes.

T. Thank you. How many months are there in a year?

P. There are 12 months.

T. Name the summer (autumn, winter, spring) months. Let's check (слайды №7-10). Next task: translate months from Russian into English (слайд №11). Well done!

T. And now open your student's books: Spotlight on Russia at page number 9. Look at the pictures (1-4) and read the descriptions (A-D). What picture is each comment about? Let's start. Well done!

T. Let's play a game. I need four pupils. Who wants to play? Come here.

Игра «Времена года»

Учитель начинает сам или выбирает учащегося, который будет играть роль Весны. Далее игра продолжается по цепочке, в ней принимают участие все дети.

P1. I'm Spring. I'm warm and sunny. March, April, May are spring months. And who are you?

P2. I'm Summer. I'm hot and bright. June, July, August are summer months. Go away, Spring! It's my turn! And who are you?

P3. I'm Autumn. I'm cool and rainy. September, October, November are autumn months. Go away, Summer! It's my turn! And who are you?

P4. I'm Winter. I'm cold and snowy. December, January, February are winter months. Go away, Autumn! It's my turn! And who are you? И т.д.

Повторение конструкций с глаголом can. С опорой на слайд №12 дети рассказывают, что могут и не могут делать в разные времена года (We can … in… We can't… in… )

4. Физкультминутка (исполняется песенка с движениями «The Body Song») слайд №13.

5. Работа по теме «Времена года».

T. Now, children, we are going to speak with you about one season. Do you like riddles? Guess what season it is (слайд №14). Igor, will you tell us about this wonderful season?

Игорь рассказывает об осени (слайд №15).

P: Autumn comes in September with the beginning of the school year. The trees and grass become yellow, red and brown. There are many fruit and vegetables in the gardens. In October the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer. It becomes colder and darker and cold winds blow. It often rains. Birds fly away to warm countries.

T: Well done, Igor. And now Chekhran will recite a poem.

Чехран читает стихотворение (слайд №16).

Yellow, red, green and brown -
See the leaves come down …
Dancing, dancing in the breeze.
Falling, falling from the trees …

T: Well done! Thank you very much. Now we'll speak about one more season. Guess what season it is (слайд №17). This season is beautiful. Everything in the streets is white and clean. What is the season? That's right. It is winter. Please, Nikita, will you tell us about this wonderful season.

Рассказ Никиты о зиме (слайд №18).

P: Winter is the coldest season of the year. The rivers and lakes are frozen over. The sun sets early and rises late. The days are short and the nights are long. The sky is grey. It often snows. There is a lot of snow everywhere. The trees, the streets, the houses are white with snow. Children can ski, skate, play hockey and snowballs.

T: It was rather good, thank you. Now listen to the poem about winter (слайд №19).

Юля К. рассказывает стихотворение.

The snow is falling,
The north wind is blowing.
The ground is white
All day and all night.

T: Many people, children and adults, like winter, because it is rich in festivals. The New Year's Day is the most favourite holiday of Russian people. The British also have many holidays in winter. Yulia S., please, tell us about them.

Юля С. рассказывает о зимних праздниках (слайды №20,21).

P: In winter the British have several holidays. On the first of January they celebrate the New Year's Day. This holiday is especially popular in Scotland. But in England the most popular holiday is Christmas. People celebrate it on the 25th of December with Christmas tree and Santa Claus. They buy presents to each other and send Christmas cards. On Christmas day many people go to church. After that the family gather round the Christmas tree and open their presents. Then they have a traditional dinner - a turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, plum pudding, cakes, tea or coffee. One more popular holiday in winter is St. Valentine's Day. The British celebrate it on the 14th of February. It is the day of all lovers. They send Valentines to each other. A Valentine is a greeting card or a little present in a form of a heart.

T: Well done! Thank you very much, Yulia . Now we'll speak about one more season (слайд №22). It is so nice! Nature awakens after a long winter sleep. We can see new green grass and new leaves on the trees. What is this season? Certainly, it is spring. Let's listen to the story about it.

Аня рассказывает о весне (слайд №23).

P: Spring is a nice season. March, April and May are spring months. Spring begins in March and ends in May. The weather is usually fine in spring. It is warm. The trees are green. We can see the first flowers. The farmers begin to work in the fields. At the end of March the weather gets warmer. The sun shines brightly. The days become longer, the nights become shorter. Snow begins melting. Nature awakens after a long winter sleep. The birds return from the South.

T: Very well, Anya. Sit down, please. Now I'd like to ask Katya. Tell us the poem about spring.

Катя читает стихотворение о весне (слайд №24).

It's lovely, lovely spring
And birds begin to sing.
The sun is very high
It's smiling in the sky.

It's lovely, lovely spring
And all the children sing.
They sing a merry song
They sing:"Ding-dong".

T: It is spring now. You'll have spring holidays very soon. I wonder what you will do during your holidays if the weather is good or bad.

P: If the weather is good / bad I will …

Учащиеся составляют предложения.

T: Very well, indeed, pupils. Let's speak about one more holiday (слайд №25). It's very beautiful. Children like this season very much, because they can spend much time outdoors. Besides they have the longest holidays in this season. What season is it? Of course, it is summer. Please, Misha, describe summer.

Миша описывает лето (слайд №26).

P: Summer is the hottest season of the year. The sun shines brightly. The sky is blue. It is warm or sometimes hot. The days are long and the nights are short. Children are happy because they have their long summer holidays. They can play, swim in the river or go to the forest for mushrooms and berries. There are a lot of flowers in the gardens and parks.

T: Well done! Let's listen to the poem about summer. Tasya, you are welcome!

Тася рассказывает стихотворение (слайд №27).

This is the season
When fruit grow.
I come to the garden
And make water flow.

When days are long.
And the sun is high
And strong.

6. Физкультминутка (слайд №28).

T: You see, we've done a lot of work during our lesson and it's time to think about our homework. At home you'll paint a picture and write about your favourite season.
