Представляючи свій проект, я акцентувала увагу на те, що пріоритетним для мене у викладанні англійської мови є не тільки розвиток комунікативних здібностей і знайомство з культурою країн мови, що вивчається, а й вивчення учнями історії своєї країни, українських традицій і звичаїв, а також знання історії Херсонщини, Великолепетищини і своєї рідної Рубанівки.
Т: - Як і в усьому світі, в Рубанівці, люди закохуються, створюються нові сім'ї, народжуються діти, відзначаються свята.
Так з чим же у нас, рубанівчан, асоціюються свята?

Р1. - З ялинкою.

Р2. - З вихідними.

Р3. - з подарунками.

Яке ж свято без подарунків? Подарунок англійською - gifts (repeat, please).

Напевно, на Новий рік ви отримали і подарували багато подарунків. Дарувати подарунки - to give gifts, а отримувати - to receive gifts (repeat, please).

Вам потрібно підписати подарунки. Ви робите завдання всією групою, а хтось один буде захищати результат. У вас 1 хвилина.

Доведено, що будь-які нові слова запам'ятовуються легше, якщо за ними стоїть зоровий образ. Спробуємо використовувати цей прийом - зіставлення зорового і літерного образу. При цьому на уроках введення нової лексики ця робота переважніше в групах, що ми з вами і робимо.

T: - Зараз ви повинні будете сказати, які подарунки більш доречні в різні свята. Виберіть назви подарунків до свят і запишіть у картки, склавши пропозиції. Потім хтось із групи озвучить отримані пропозиції.

На цьому етапі я використовую прийом закріплення правильного вживання дієслівних словосполучень. Введення матеріалу йде від більш простих завдань до більш складних. Я взяла різнорівневі завдання, щоб кожен незалежно від мовних можливостей міг внести свій внесок у загальну справу і засвоїти матеріал (Кілька людей з груп відповідають).

Інтерв'ю

T: В Англії традиції дарувати подарунки трохи відрізняються від наших. У нашій країні прийнято підносити дорогі подарунки, не рахуючись з тим, що ми зобов'язуємо людей теж витрачати багато грошей. В Англії подарунки не повинні бути дорогими. Як правило, там дарують торти, шоколад або книги, іноземці привозять сувеніри зі своїх країн, можна подарувати подарунок, зроблений власноруч. Від чого ж залежить вибір подарунка?

T: Я пропоную вам взяти інтерв'ю в іншої групи і з'ясувати що для них головне у виборі подарунка. Для цього утворіть два кола: внутрішнє коло стоїть на місці, зовнішній же переміщається за годинниковою стрілкою, задає питання: "What is more important for you when you choose a gift?" (У вас 1 хвилина)

Звернення до залу:

Мета цього прийому - витяг і обмін інформацією. Як бачимо, внутрішнє коло стоїть на місці, а зовнішнє рухається, що дозволяє неодноразово змінити мовного партнера. Подібні завдання дозволяють не тільки опанувати мовні конструкції, але і задуматися про особистісно та соціально значущі речі, про своє ставлення до життєвих проблем. Крім того, йде розвиток комунікативних навичок.

Ця вправа дозволяє опанувати навик діалогічної мови. Крім комунікативних навичок освоюються та навички ввічливого спілкування.
