Цель урока: Развитие умений аудирования и говорения по теме "English - speaking countries".

Образовательный аспект (образовательные задачи): расширение кругозора и формирование социокультурной компетенции учащихся.

Развивающий аспект (развивающие задачи): развитие языковой догадки, логического мышления, познавательных способностей учащихся, развитие способностей к узнаванию и сопоставлению нового и ранее изученного.

Воспитательный аспект (воспитательные задачи): воспитание уважения к культурному наследию и природе англо-говорящих стран.

Практический аспект (практические задачи): систематизация материала и тренировка в употреблении лексических единиц по теме "English - speaking countries".

Оборудование урока: мультимедийный проектор, экран, ноутбук, мультимедийные презентации; видеозапись, раздаточный материал; УМК.

Дидактический материал: карточки с заданиями по теме "English - speaking countries".

Лексический материал: лексические единицы (powerful, capital, symbol, colony, population, official, stars and stripes, stretch, be situated, represent, consist of).

Грамматический материал: Passive Voice, времена группы Present.

Ход урока

I. Начало урока.

1. Приветствие.

2. Введение в тему урока.

Вступительное слово учителя. Учитель предлагает учащимся посмотреть видеоклип "English - speaking countries".

T: Watch the video clip and answer the question "What are we going to speak about today?"

P: English - speaking countries. (слайд 1)

T: You are right. Today we are going to speak about some English - speaking countries.

Let's guess the countries.

Учитель предлагает вспомнить флаги англоговорящих стран и назвать их.

T: Look at the flag and name the country (слайды 2-6).

Учащиеся называют страны.

T: Good job. Today we are going to speak about the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia.

II. Актуализация знаний учащихся.

Учащиеся выполняют упражнения на карточках.

Ex.1

Учитель предлагает учащимся вставить пропущенные слова в тексте о США.

T: Let's start with the USA (карта-слайд 7). Take the cards and do ex.1. Work in pairs. Read the text and put in the missing words. You have 2 minutes.

Учитель предлагает учащимся выбрать из упражнения предложения по темам «Канада» и «Австралия» и расположить их в логическом порядке.

T: Thank you. Now let's see what you know about Canada and Australia (карты стран-слайд 8).

Take the cards and do ex.2. Work in pairs. Choose the sentences about Canada and Australia and put them in the logical order.

III. Работа с видеофильмом.

Учитель предлагает учащимся посмотреть видео о Великобритании и назвать известные города Великобритании, упомянутые в фильме.

T: Thanks a lot for your dialogues. Besides London there are other famous cities in Great Britain.

Now watch the video and answer the question: "What are other famous towns and cities in Britain?"

Учащиеся называют известные города Великобритании, упомянутые в фильме:

Учитель предлагает учащимся посмотреть видеоклип о Великобритании ещё раз и закончить предложения (слайд10).

IV. Презентация проекта по теме «Новая Зеландия».

Учитель предлагает учащимся послушать презентацию проекта о Новой Зеландии и ответить на вопросы.

T: Now we are going to listen to the project about New Zealand (презентация).

Gleb has prepared some questions for you. Listen to the project and be ready to answer the questions. Gleb, read your questions.

Учащиеся слушают презентацию проекта и отвечают на вопросы.
