Урок-конференция по английскому языку на тему Мой родной город

Аннотация раскрывает актуальность использования внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку по теме «Моя родной город» в 8 классе.

«Сведений науки не следует сообщать учащемуся, но его надо привести к тому, чтобы он сам их находил, самодеятельно ими овладевал. Такой метод обучения наилучший, самый трудный, самый редкий. Трудностью объясняется редкость его применения. Изложение, считывание, диктовка против него детская забава…» - писал немецкий педагог-демократ XIX в. Адольф Дистервег, чьи идеи значительно опередили время и являются актуальными для развития образования XXI века.

В современное время приобретает наибольшее значение деятельностные методы обучения в английском языке, формирующие универсальные речевые компетенции, позволяющие обучающемуся свободно общаться по теме. Мероприятие посвящено краеведческому материалу 105 лет городу Татарску Новосибирской области, который формирует не только предметные, но и универсальные компетенции по теме «Моя страна». Согласно Федеральному базисному плану общего среднего образования, учебный план включает региональный компонент, содержащий материалы о конкретном регионе, где живут обучающиеся. Обучающиеся должны знать не только страну изучаемого языка, но и страну, край, город, в котором они живут. Содержание регионального компонента образования призвано служить патриотическому и нравственному воспитанию школьников, формированию духовности, развитию их творческого потенциала. Обучение в региональном компоненте строится на основе страноведческой информации, на примерах, взятых из жизни, с тем, чтобы максимально стимулировать не только интеллектуальную, но и эмоциональную сферу ребенка.

Данный этап процесса обучения предполагает осознанный переход ученика из жизнедеятельности в пространство учебной деятельности.

Целью внеклассного мероприятия является: повторение и обобщение лексического и грамматического материала по теме «Моя страна». Для реализации данной цели ставятся следующие задачи:

- обучающая (совершенствование речевых навыков, диалогической формы речи, умения запрашивать информацию, умения выделить проблему и доказывать её актуальность, закрепление правил грамотного письма);

- развивающая (развитие потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в парах и группах, развитие познавательного интереса учащихся, творческих способностей, умения выступать, быстро мыслить, конспективно планировать своё предстоящее выступление по предложенной схеме или ситуации);

-воспитывающая (воспитание у учащихся чувства национальной гордости, а также способности идти на компромисс и стремление к сотрудничеству).

Замыслам внеклассного мероприятия должны соответствовать использованные методы обучения (частично-поисковый, исследовательский и проблемного изложения материала), а также методические приёмы (индивидуальная и групповая беседа, самостоятельная и творческая работа, использование «содружества искусств» - лингвистика и история, лингвистика и изобразительное искусство, лингвистика и архитектура и др.; анализ текста, работа на доске и в тетрадях, использование опорных схем, ключевых слов и выражений).

Форма внеклассного мероприятия - конференция - выбрана не случайно. Она позволит показать умение обучающимся работать индивидуально, творчески, почувствовать нужность и важность взаимного общения учителя и ученика, а также сделает атмосферу на уроке доброжелательной и поможет почувствовать взаимную заинтересованность.

Внеклассное мероприятие должно стать развивающим, так как будет способствовать развитию творческого воображения, навыков связной устной речи и логического мышления, умения собирать, анализировать и обобщать информацию по теме.

Внеурочное мероприятие в форме конференции "Mу native town Tatarsk is 105" («Моему родному городу Татарску 105 лет»

Цели: повторение и обобщение лексического и грамматического материала по теме «Моя страна».

Задачи:

Учебный аспект: формирование навыков коммуникативной культуры; развитие культуры устных выступлений; совершенствование умения запрашивать информацию, выделять проблему и доказывать её актуальность; закрепление правил грамотного письма.

Развивающий аспект: развитие потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в паре и группе; развитие познавательного интереса учащихся и творческих способностей, умений конспективно планировать своё предстоящее выступление по предложенной теме или ситуации.

Воспитательный аспект: воспитывать любовь к своей малой родине, подмечать красоту родного края; воспитывать способность идти на компромисс и стремление к сотрудничеству.

Форма : конференция.

Используемый метод: ролевая игра.

Greeting.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our conference. I am extremely pleased to meet you here. We gather together for discussing the following question. The Government of the Russian Federation organizes the competition "The best town of our country". Can our town take part in this competition? Now, let me introduce the experts: from Moscow, from Novosibirsk and from London. At the end of our conference they will make a decision about our town.

So, our conference is opened.

The members of all departments will tell us about their work and achievements. The secretary should compose the scheme of Modern Tatarsk, using key words from the reports of the departments.

But now, the experts may ask questions about our town (using the scheme). (См. Приложение №1).

Questions and answers:

1. What part of Russia is Tatarsk situated in?

- Tatarsk is located 457 kilometers west of Novosibirsk, near the border with the Omsk region.

2. When was Tatarsk founded?

- Tatarsk was founded in 1925.

3. What is the population of it?

- The population of Tatarsk district is about 24 thousand people.

4. What was Tatarsk in very beginning?

- It was a Trans-Siberian Railway .

Work of the departments:

1. The department of industry:

Our town plays an important role of Russian industry. Tatarsk has a lot of plants and factories, such as plants producing milk and bread, sausage, processing and drying of grain , mineral water. Many people work there. We think that this plant is very important for our economy and economy of Russia.

2.The department of history and culture:

Student 1:

Our town has rich and interesting history. You know, Tatarsk was founded in 1925. Tatarsk was 90 years old in 2015. The appearance of the city is connected with the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway in the XIX century. During the construction of the railway in 1894, founded the station Tatarskaya, which received its name from the located two miles from the station, the village of Tatarka Kazatkulskoy parish Kainskaya district of Tomsk province. The village of Tatarka, named after the first inhabitants, was founded in the XVIII century: according to some sources - in the years 1733-1735 during the construction of the Moscow tract , on the other - in 1790. In tsarist Russia Tatarsk was a small dirty provincial settlement, but now Tatarsk is very beautiful town with many historical places.

Also we have the Park, children's music and art school "Raduga" , libraries, sports complex "Cosmos", "Lokomotiv" Stadium, ski base ,swimming pool.

Expert:

What places for teenager do you have?

Student 1:

Teenagers have their centers, night clubs. They can go to various concerts, show programmes, enjoy resting in our cozy cafes.

3. The department of architecture and construction:

Student 1:

Our town maintained many unique historical and cultural monuments. Tatarsk is a town of great beauty with its buildings. We'd recommend visiting the History Museum named N. Savchenko. There is a Church in Tatarsk.

Student 2:

For example, architectural monument is the historic clock tower - Astronomical Clock located on Lenin Street. It was built in ____ by architects Abram Steffen .

In the center of Tatarsk there is the Palace of Culture .In the Palace concerts are regularly hosted by groups and folk ensembles of the city.

4. Grammar review.

Teacher:

Let`s explain our quests where some sights are situated in (putting right prepositions). (Cм. Приложение №3).

Continue our work. There was a competition of children`s compositions about native town. This is one of them. Please, read it and find the mistakes. (См. Приложение №4).

The journalists of the town composed the list of the most popular people of modern Tatarsk.

5. The most popular people of Tatarsk.

Journalist 1:

We interviewed people in the street and have following results:

53 per cent people gave their votes in favor of Shvedov Alexander . He is a head of our town.

35 per cent people gave their votes in favor of Vladimir Smirnov . He is the head of the Tartarsk district.

12 per cent people gave their votes in favor of Renata Yuryeva. She is a poet. She writes about war, the Motherland and love.

Journalist 2:

But we should not forget about famous persons of past time. 12 soldiers were awarded the highest award- Gold star of the Hero of the Soviet Union.For example, Andrey Volkov,Ivan Volkov,Kucheryavii Gerasim,Ivanishko Fedor,Alexey Ivanov,Nestor Kozin,Fedor Kostenko,Gorbatenko Nikolai,Eremin Alexander,Yurchenko Nikolai,Cheremuhin Alexander,Gryaznov Aleksandr, who took part in Great Patriotic War and also other great people.

6. Relax.

Teacher:

I want to add. Each country and each town have their famous people. For example, Robert Burns, the Scottish national pride and a well-known poet. He lived at the end of the 18-th century. He loved his country dearly. Love for Scotland, for the Scottish people and for the Scottish language is the main theme of his poems.

The school education in Tatarsk has good higher education. There are a lot of schools, Kindergartens, professional colleges in our town.

My native town.

I prefer live in my hometown . He is very beautiful. It founded in 1925. Tatarsk turned into a developed industrial and cultural center of our region. It have many plants and factorys, cinemas, theatres, institutes, several technical and secondary schools.

Everyone has their own ideas about the native land: someone sees his home and the dear people, somebody remembers Siberian expanses with scattered villages and the villages of it, someone sweet endless grain fields .... All of this is our homeland, dear to all of us Tatarsky District!
