Внеклассное мероприятие «Будь моим Валентином !» (Be my Valentine !) Задачи : 1. Воспитывать интерес учащихся к изучению традиций и культуры проведения праздника «День святого Валентина». 2. Совершенствовать произносительные навыки говорения. . 3. Повторить лексику по теме «Антонимы». 4. Формировать лексические навыки говорения. Оборудование : Сердца , изображенные на ватмане , карточки с заданиями , предлогами и прилагательными , шарики в виде сердец. Ход мероприятия Teacher : Hello , dear students and guests ! We are glad to see you today! Every year on the 14th of February people celebrate a very beautiful and lovely holiday «Valentine’s day» in many countries. Today we’ll try to speak about this day , you ‘ll know about history of this holiday, listen to 3 versions . So , you can congratulate each other and review opposites. I hope upon this winter day, You ‘ ll like this small surprise. Student 6 : Each sunny day I live and hope: You ‘ll look at me and laugh. We’re like two pieces of one orange, I’m your other half. Student 7 : Times goes slowly and Know, I’ll simply have to wait, But we will have our magic moments. When we’re on our date. Student 8 : My love is floating in the air; It seems just like a kite , It’s sailing up into the sky : I marvel at its height. Student 9 : My love is gentle, Sometimes fierce , My love has never died , Of one big thing You can be sure You love fills me with pride.»

Оборудование : Сердца , изображенные на ватмане , карточки с заданиями , предлогами и прилагательными , шарики в виде сердец.

Ход мероприятия

Teacher : Hello , dear students and guests ! We are glad to see you today! Every year on the 14th of February people celebrate a very beautiful and lovely holiday «Valentine's day» in many countries. Today we'll try to speak about this day , you 'll know about history of this holiday, listen to 3 versions . So , you can congratulate each other and review opposites.

Teacher : Let's listen to … ( имя ученика ).

Student 1 : One of my favourite holidays is Valentine's Day. We celebrate this holiday on February the 14.th . It is a day of love and friendship. We send greetings cards to our sweethearts and friends , ask them «to be my Valentines». This means «be my friend or love». We also decorate our classrooms with big red hearts and give red roses and chocolate to our sweethearts , friends and family.

Teacher : Thank you very much.

So , let's listen to stories about who Valentine was?

Student 2 : Some people say Valentine was a priest in Rome many years ago. Emperor Claudius didn't want young man to marry. He wanted them to be soldiers . Young couples went secretly to Valentine and he married them . Claudius was angry and put Valentine in prison . He killed him on February the 14th.

Student 3 : Other people say Valentine was a Christian martyr. While he was in prison he fell in love with the jailer's daughter. When it was time for him to die , he wrote a message on the prison wall saying «From your Valentine».

Teacher : Now I want you to listen to different wishes and congratulations which you can write in cards and letters.

Student 4 :

Oh . Valentine ! I love you so.

I think of you all night.

That's why I'm sending

You thus poem,

Which I went to write.

Student 5 : I'm so happy and so lucky

When I see you eyes.

I hope upon this winter day,

You ' ll like this small surprise.

Teacher : O'K , Let's play and review opposites( prepositions , nouns , adjectives). Учащимся выдаются половинки сердец с пожеланиями , также на них написаны антонимы - предлоги , существительные и прилагательные , мальчики и девочки вслух читают признания , а затем антонимы . «Половинки» находят друг друга.

She's confident and cheeky.( Day).

Because he's never mean.(night).


  1. Please , be my girlfriend, Claire,

I like you because you're always fair.(left).

4. My darling Pete, You're very sweet.(right).

6. This poem is for a boy called Andrew knight

I like you because you're kind and bright.(hot).

7. Do you like me ,Kate ?

I think , you're great !( on).

8. You're much sweeter than honey

And you're also very funny.(off).

9. I love you , Trevor

Because you're clever.(up).

10. Roses are red

Violets are blue

Sugar is sweet

And so are you.(down).

11. Be my Valentine ! ( in ).

12. Be my Valentine! ( out ).

Teacher : Our party is over . I think it was very pleased to see you . You learned many interesting things . Thank you for your work. It's time to say good bye!
