Разработка урока английского языка

в 8 классе по теме « СМИ» учителя Саламахиной Н.Н.

Цель:

- содействовать совершенствованию навыков монологической и диалогической речи учащихся по теме СМИ.

Образовательные задачи:

- расширять кругозор по теме СМИ;

- реализовать межпредметные связи (история).

Познавательные:

-развивать социо-культурную компетенцию;

- активизировать лексику и лексико-грамматические конструкции по теме.

Воспитательные:

- воспитывать культуру общения учащихся, толерантное отношение к мнению собеседника.

Развивающие :

- развивать умение работать в группе, выражать свое мнение в беседе;

- развивать способности к переключению уровней мышления (обучение говорению с опорой на алгоритм определенного языкового общения по методу Эдварда Де Боно « Шесть шляп мышления» )

Тип учебного занятия: систематизация и обобщение изученного материала.

Методы обучения: словесный, наглядно-иллюстративный, репродуктивный, частично-поисковый, контрольный.

Формы организации учебно-познавательной деятельности: фронтальная, парная, групповая.

Средства обучения:

• учебник М.З.Биболетова, Н.Н. Трубанева « Enjoy English 8 »,

• рабочая тетрадь М.З.Биболетова, Н.Н. Трубанева « Enjoy English 8 »,

• - мультимедиа-проектор,

• презентация к уроку ( Приложение 1) , выполненная в Power Point;

• диск « Enjoy English 8 » с аудиозаписью задания для аудирования и физминутки,

• 6 шляп разных цветов( белая, желтая, красная, зеленая, синяя, черная.)

1Приветствие.

Teacher:

- Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Today we'll speak about the Media. Please, look at the blackboard. These beautiful hats will help us to speak about Mass Media. White hat will help us to repeat words and word combinations on the topic. Yellow hat will help us to make up some sentences. Red hat - to express your opinions about Mass Media, what do you like \don't like in Mass Media? What do you hate? What do you prefer…? Black hat will help to find some disadvantages in using of Mass Media. Green hat give you the opportunity to be creative, to make your dialogues, to demonstrate your home tasks. And at last, blue hat will help us to make conclusions, results. Do you understand me? Are you ready? OK, let's begin.

-Dear friends! At the beginning of our work let's read and repeat some words on the topic "Mass Media". Please, open your books on page 64 ex. 10.Please, listen and repeat.

1. Teacher: And now, please, answer my question - what is the Media? Please take white hat and let's repeat some words on the topic.

Purple 1 - Media is the means of communication: TV, newspapers (tabloid), the Internet, radio.

Teacher: What is TV?

Purple 1 :TV is broadcasting programmes (the news advertisements, shows, etc.) for people to watch on their television sets;

Teacher: What is a radio?

Purple 2 : A radio is the process of sending and receiving messages through the air; broadcast programmes for people to listen to;

Teacher: What is a newspaper?

Purple 3 : A newspaper is a paper printed and sold usually daily or weekly with news, advertisements est.

Teacher: What is a tabloid?

Purple 4: A tabloids is a newspaper with rather small page pictures and little serious news;

Teacher: What is the Internet?

Purple 5: The Internet is a way to communicate with your p who might be a thousand miles aw the computer (by e-mail).

1. Teacher -What is the role of the Media in our life?

Pupil 1 -The Media can inform, educate and entertain people.

Teacher - How does the Media help people?

Pupil 2 - The Internet helps to receive information and to travel around the world without wasting money.

Pupil 3 - The radio helps us to relax and to entertain.

Pupil 4 - The newspapers help us to receive information and news.

2.Teacher: Children, please, change your hat, please put on yellow hat. Express your opinions on the topic. Please don't forget to use such phrases as

P6 - As for me I prefer to read "Arguments and facts" and "Cooking"

P8 - As for me I like to read the articles about sport and animals.

Teacher: Children, let's speak about one of the most popular Media - the radio. Please, change your hat, put on red one. It helps us to express what do you think about the radio? Please don't forget to use such phrases as

P1 - I like to listen to the music on the radio.

P2 - As for me I don't like to listen to the radio morning exercises.

P3 - I adore to listen to a pop music on the radio when I working in the garden.

Teacher - Nowadays the Internet is one of the most popular Mass Media all over the world. It has got many some advantages. It helps us talking with friends, gets necessary information. In the Internet we can listen to music and watching TV, online shopping, etc. But there are some disadvantages of the Internet. Black hat will help us to find it. Look at the blackboard. Please use following phrases :

• I am afraid but ...

• I am sorry, but...

• Internet has some disadvantages ...

P 1 - I am afraid but it promotes violence.

P2 - I am sorry, but it stops communicate with friends.

P3 - The Internet has some disadvantages: it damages your eyes; you have no time for sport.

P4 - It stops children from going out.

P5 - I am afraid but the Internet learns children about bad side of the life.

1.Teacher - Thank you, sit down, please. It's time to put on green hat. Let's check your hometask. You have prepared some information from the History of Mass Media. Boys, come to the blackboard and answer.

From history of newspaper… In China, early government-produced news sheets, during the late Han dynasty (second and third centuries AD). Between 713 and 734, the Chinese Tang Dynasty published government news; it was handwritten on silk and read by government officials.

Ilyusha:

Who invented the radio? On May 7, 1895 the Russian physicist Alexander Popov performed a public demonstration of transmission and reception of radio waves used for communication .This day has since been celebrated in Russia as "Radio Day"

VII. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи учащихся

Teacher: Children, please, change your hat, please put on green hat. Continue the discussion in pairs and make dialogs about your favourite Mass Media . Open your books on p. 63 ex. 7. The questions from the exercise will help you in your work.

Teacher: Dear friends! As you can understand every Mass Media is very important, interesting and useful for people. But tastes differ. Our round table will help you to express your opinions on the topic "The most useful Media for teenagers. Pros and Cons". Let's gather all six hats together. Share your opinion on this topic. Try to be polite, patient and valid to your classmates. Please, put on our thinking hats and let's start the discussion.
