Play CD2 track 40. children listen the first time. Then they repeat in the pauses.

Volunteers come forward and underline oo in each word.
The focus in this lesson is on the vowel phoneme but the class should pronounce the sp consonant blend accurately as hey have studied it in Unit 6.

Ask who or what is in the picture. Play CD2 track 41. Class listens and follows.
