The theme: The Environment and You.

The aims: a.to teach students about the environment and its problems.

b.to develop listening ,reading, speaking and writing skills and enrich their

knowledge about environment and wider their scope.

c.to bring up students love to the nature and to care of the environment.

Type of the lesson: New presentation

Procedure of the lesson

I.Org moment.

-Good morning,children.

-I m glad to seeyou.

-Sit down, please.

II.Checking up the hometask: to revise previous lexicology. I ll give cards with words: environment, ecology, pollution, resources, living things,surround.

The task is to read the meaning and guess the word:

1.The scientific study of the natural relations of plants, animals, people(Ecology)

2.The act of making air, water, land dangerously impure(Pollution)

3.Plants,animals,people(Living things)

4.All around on every side (Sorround)

III.Explanation of new theme.

The theme of today s lesson is The environment and you. We ll try to discuss some environmental problems.

Environmental as it is known is all living and non-living things that sorround us.

1.Listen to the text.

2.Read the text.

3.Answer the questions of Ex2

4.Retell the text using the content of the text Ex4.

Grammar.Suffixes.

The following suffixes are used to form different part of speech.

Nouns:-ment,- ness,- sion,- tion,- ty,- al.

Adjectives:-full, -able,-ous,-y,-ive,-al.

Verbs:-ize/ise

IV.Complete the table.
