You are welcome to our party of theme 70^th year to Great Patriotic War.Today is a 70 year when was great patriotic war.The term Great Patriotic war is used in Russia and some other former republic of the Soviet Union to describe the conflict fought during the period from22 June 1941 to 9 May 1945 along the many fronts of the eastern campaighn of World war II between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany with its alies .The canonical end of great Patriotic war is 9 May 1945, but for some legal purposes its period is extended to 11 May 1945 to also include the end of the Prague Affensive. Soon we'llcelebrate a great holiday - VictoryDay. It's a special day. It's a wonderful holiday differentf rom all other holidays. It is a national holiday andatthe sametime a very person alone.Young generations know about the Great PatrioticWar only from books and films. But it is difficult to believe that their hearts are not excited onVictory day. Every yearWar veterans in large cities and small villages come together to celebrated VictoryDay. They traditionally go to the War memorials to honor the memory of war heroes. But the umbers of them become fewer from year to year. Time takes that historic day farther away from us, but we always must remember it because itis closely related with our grandparents or great grandparents which did all their best to bring this victory close. SovietUnion lost more than 20 million of people in that war and saved the world from fascism. We should never forget those who gave their lives for the Motherland.
