Урок английского языка "NewYear".

4-й класс

Цель:

• познакомить учащихся с традицией празднования нового года в стране изучаемого языка;

• вспомнить прошедший новый год с использованием грамматического материала: The Past SimpleTense.

Задачи:

1. Обучающие:

• способствовать усвоению простого прошедшего времени;

• научить рассказывать историю о том, что вчера делал Санта Клаус;

• активировать в речи использование лексических единиц по теме «Праздник Новый Год»;

• формирование навыка монологической речи;

• формировать грамматические навыки по теме: простое прошедшее время.

2. Развивающие:

• развивать навыки работы с упражнениями учебника;

• развивать внимание, мышление, языковую догадку, речь, память.

• работать с книгой.

3. Воспитательная:

• воспитать любовь к стране изучаемого языка, к ее традициям;

• добиться сознательного усвоения знаний.

Оборудование:

• доска, мел, учебник, раздаточный материал;

• рабочая тетрадь, компьютер, проектор.

Тип урока: закрепление грамматического материала «ThePastSimpleTense».

I. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие.

T: Good morning boys and girls!

P:

We are glad to see you!

T: I am glad to see you too. How are you?

P: I am fine thank you...

T: Sit down, please! Let`s start our lesson. ..., what is the date today?

P: Today is the...

T: What day is it today...?

P: Today is...

T: What is the weather like today...?

P: Today is ...

T: Do you like this weather...?

P: I don`t like ....

T: Why? What weather do you like?

P: I like ... weather.

T: OK, very good.

2. Фонетическаязарядка.

T: Now look at the blackboard. Here is the phonetic rhythm. Listen the rhythm. I`ll read it, then we`ll repeat after me (надоске).

I'm a little snowman short and fat,
Here is my scarf and here is my hat.
When I see the snowfall,
Hear me shout
"All you children please come out!"

T: Now let`s play the game. I`ll close one sentence, you`ll read the rhythm. Then I`ll close the another sentence, you`ll read the whole rhythm and so on.

II. Введениевтему.

T: Today we`ll speak about the holiday - New Year. New Year`s Day celebrates the start of a new year. English people celebrate New Year`s Day on the first day of January, but the celebration actually begins on December 31, New Year`s Eve, the night before New Year`s Day. They blow horns and whistles. Some people shake hands, kiss, hug, sing and shout «Happy New Year» and give presents to each other.

T: Now let`s remember your last New Year Celebration.

What did you do last New Year`s Day?

P: I went to the New Year`s tree.

T: Good. And what about you...?

P: I went to the guests and ate a lot of sweets and chocolates.

T: Good. And what kind of present did your parents present to you? Can you tell me...?

P: My parents presented an interesting book to me.

T: And what about you...?

P: My parents presented to me...

T: Now look at the monitor and let`s remember our rule about past simple tense (включаюправило The Past Simple Tense).

T: Are you tired?

P: Yes.

T: Now do it this exercise slowly then quickly.

T: Now look at the monitor and let`s complete the sentences in past simple tense. We`ll complete the fairy tale «What did Santa Claus do yesterday?» (делаютупражнение).

T: Now I`ll give you a sheets of paper. Write down the story about Santa Claus. Open the brackets and write down the words in past simple tense

T: Let`s check your answers. Give me your sheets of paper.

Now let`s sing a song «Jingle bells». Дети смотрят на электронную доску и видят ролик для детей про с песней « Jinglebells». Все вместе поют песню.

III. Заключение.

It will be New Year soon and we can write a letter for Santa Claus. Here is the example how to write a letter.
