План урока в 7 классе

Тема урока: Олимпийские игры.

Цель урока: формировать у учащихся основополагающие навыки и умения англоязычного общения, создать условия для осознания и осмысления учебной информации, ее применения в новой учебной ситуации.

Задачи урока:

образовательная: закрепить и обобщить знания учащихся по теме «спорт» , PresentSimple, общий вопрос, специальный вопрос.

развивающая: развивать навыки диалогической и монологической речи учащихся; совершенствовать навыки чтения; способствовать развитию умения анализировать и обобщать знания; развивать память, логическое мышление;

воспитательная: воспитывать умения сотрудничать и работать в команде; воспитывать личностные качества: ответственность, самостоятельность, способствовать воспитанию у учащихся культурных ценностей;

Здоровьесберегающая: предупреждать переутомление у учащихся путем смены деятельности; поддерживать на уроке дружескую атмосферу

Технологии: элементы информационно-коммуникативной (слайдовая презентация), сотрудничества и игровой технологий

Тип урока: урок обобщения и применения знаний

Форма учебного занятия: урок с применением компьютерных технологий

Оборудование: компьютер, проекционная аппаратура, мультимедийное пособие " Click on Russia", презентации

T: Hello, children! I am glad to see you. How are you today?

  1. Speaking about the aims of the lesson.

Children, look at the screen, please. You can see the topic of our today's lesson. It is "Olympic Games"

Can you name me associations which you have on this topic? This part of the blackboard will help you. Here are the sheets of paper with different words. Come up to the blackboard and stick the necessary word around the word " Sport" and we shall have the associations on the topic.

Words on the cards:

SportTeenager, sports and games,health, summer, to keep fit, track and field, PT lessons, the Atlantic ocean, Olympic games, chess, the Red square, famous sportsmen, Pierre de Coubertin.

T: So, we can come to the conclusion: what shall we speak about at our today's lesson?

P1, P2, P3 answer the question.


  1. Warming up.

T: Before our today's work I would like to have a talk with you about sport.

  1. Do you like sport?

  2. What role does sport play in your life?

  3. Do you practise any kind of sport?

  4. Are you a sport fan?

  5. What is your favourite kind of sport?

  6. Do you watch competitions on TV or at the stadium?

  1. T: Look at the blackboard, please, and name me sports and games.

Children name the sports and games

  1. T: Do you remember what are games and what are sports?

Children divide the pictures into two groups.

  1. T: I shall show you one presentation. Your task will be to match these pictures of sports equipment with kinds of sports.

The teacher shows the presentation with sport equipment.

The children try to guess what kind of sport they belong to.

  1. T: Children, complete the words to make a list of traditional Olympic Games.

  • The sport on going on horseback ( horse riding)

  • A game played by two teams of six players, and it is played on the ice field ( ice hockey)

  • A game for two people who use rackets, a small soft ball and a low net ( table tennis)

G) Now let's play a little bit. I shall give you cards, you are to read and describe the kind of sport.

Cards with the words: football, figure skating, basketball, downhill skiing, table tennis, field hockey.

  1. T: We have already mentioned different Olympic kinds of sports. But do you remember some facts about the history of the Olympic Games? My presentation will help you to remind some facts and then speak about the history of the Olympic Games. Loot at the screen, please, and read.
