Procedure of the lesson:

  1. Organization moment

  1. Greeting

  2. Dialogue with the duty.

  1. As the warm - up activity we stand around (take your hands) and we wish each other good wishes.

For example: You are nicer! You are kind! You are beautiful! Be clever! Be careful! etc.

  1. Checking up the home task. Holidays. (Суреттер арқылы үй тапсырмасын сурау.)

  2. The new lesson.

Pupils divided into three groups.

T: Come up and choose any sweets; those who have chocolates sit together, those who have chewing gums sit together and those who have chupa - chups make another group.

Today our lesson will be unusual because we'll play the game ''The Golden Gate".

Do you know this game? Have you ever heard about it?

It has three doors and the golden chest (a magic chest).

Each door has tasks. You must do the tasks.

Presentation of grammar material: to be going to + Infinitive

We will learn the structure "to be going to do". We use this structure when we are going to do something in the future.

Example: I am going to play tennis.

shower - take a shower

play - play tennis, play computer games

watch - watch TV

have - have lunch

cook - cook a meal

ride - ride a bike

The tasks of the stone door:

  1. Read and find the sentences with structure "going to".

Exercise 1, p. 128. Work with the textbook.

  1. Complete the sentences using the structure "be going to" and put the necessary form of the verb "to be".

For "Chocolates"

  1. She … to play the piano.

  2. I … to buy this book.

For "Chewing gums"

  1. You … to write a composition tomorrow.

  2. He … to play tennis.

For "Chupa - chups":

  1. We … to have lunch.

  2. They … to play computer games.

  1. Write sentences using "be going to". Example: It/rain.

It is going to rain.

  1. They/eat/a hamburger.

  2. He/watch/a film.

  1. Individual work. Work with cards. Write negative sentences using "be going to".

The tasks of the golden door:

  1. Make up dialogues.

Example: What are you going to do tomorrow?

I am going to write a composition

next week visit my grandparents

tomorrow help my friend

in summer swim in the sea

at 10 o'clock do homework

  1. Work with pictures and make up sentences using "be going to".

We've opened the golden door.

There is a magic chest.

Let's see what it contains.

Here is your home task and your marks: gold and silver stones. Gold is excellent, silver is good.


  1. The Conclusion of the lesson:

Home task: Ex. 11, 12.

What have we done today on the lesson? What have we learnt today? What structure have you used when you said about future?

I want to finish our lesson with the words of John Galsworthy "If you do not think about future you can not have one".
