«День святого Валентина»

Цель: Обобщить знания учащихся по теме

Тип урока: Урок обобщения и систематизации знаний

Используемое оборудование и материалы: Классная доска, иллюстрации по теме, аудиозаписи, костюмы, свечи, роза, папки для ведущих в форме сердца.
Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

• активизировать лексику по теме "Узнаем больше друг о друге"

• развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи

• расширить кругозор учащихся

2. Развивающие:

• развивать мышление , память, познавательный интерес у учащихся

3. Воспитательные:

• поддерживать у учащихся интерес к выбору будущей профессии и уважительное отношение к труду.

Тип урока : повторительно-обучающий
Форма работы: фронтальная, групповая, парная.

Ход мероприятия

На сцену под красивую медленную мелодию выходят ведущий и ведущая со свечами в руках.

Ведущий: Dear ladies and gentlemen. Today is the 14th February. St. Valentine's Day. Welcome to our holiday.

Ведущая: It's the day when boys and girls, sweethearts and lovers, husbands and wives, friends and neighbours, and even the office staff will exchange greetings of affection, undying love or satirical comment.

Ведущая: What kind of holiday is St. Valentine's Day?
Ведущий: St. Valentine's Day is a religious holiday , which is celebrated in Great Britain, in many European countries and in the USA. St. Valentine's Day has roots in several legends.
Ведущая: One of the early symbols of love is Cupid, the Roman God of Love, who is represented as a young boy with a bow and arrows.
Ведущий: Some people say Valentine was a priest in Rome many years ago. Emperor Claudius didn't want young men to marry. He wanted them to be soldiers. Young couples went secretly to Valentine and he married them. Claudius was angry and put Valentine in prison. He killed him on February the 14th.

Ведущая: Other people say Valentine was a Christian martyr. While he was in prison he fell in love with the jailers daughter. When it was time for him to die, he wrote a message on the prison wall saying "From your Valentine"
Ведущий: And other people say it's the time that birds choose their mates, and it simply happens to be the same day as the day celebrating a Christian saint.

Ведущий: This is the legend of how St. Valentine's Day began.

Ведущая: When the Roman Emperor Claudius II needed soldiers, he made a law against marrying because he felt that marriage made men want to stay at home instead of fighting wars.

Ведущий: But at that time there was a kindly priest named Valentine. He couldn't agree with the emperor's decision. When he saw that young couples were truly in love ,

Ведущая: he married them secretly.

Далее следует инсценировка легенды.

Звучит красивая медленная мелодия.
Выходят юноша (в руках роза) и девушка с разных сторон зала ,идут медленно по залу, в центре встречаются и смотрят друг другу в глаза ,затем юноша садится на колено и дарит розу девушке. Они берутся за руки и медленно уходят.

Звучит музыка. Выходит священник. Он идет медленно.

Ведущий: Valentine was a Christian priest in the Roman Empire 100 years after the death of Jesus Christ.

Священник : My children! I've come from the distant past, to remind you of kindness and love, friendship and patience in your wicked world.
Not only when it's St. Valentine's Day
But always, all year through
You're thought about with words of love
And wished much gladness, too!

Звучит красивая мелодия медленная, выходят юноша и девушка ,держатся за руки падают на колени и жестами умоляют священника совершить обряд бракосочетания. Звучит марш Мендельсона, Священник выполняет их просьбу.
Священник: My daughter! My son! I declare you husband and wife!

Звучит марш Мендельсона. Врывается стража.

Стражник 1: Priest, you have been discovered and condemned to death!
Стражник 2: To prison! To the Tower!

Стражники хватают Священника и уводят его.

Следующая сцена: священник в тюрьме. Исполняется танец приведений.

Входит тюремщик с дочерью.

Священник: What a beautiful girl!
Тюремщик: This is my daughter. She is blind! She will probably never see the light, the trees!
Священник: I will help her by working a miracle!

Священник совершает «чудо», проводя перед лицом девушки руками.

дочь тюремщика показывает, что к ней вернулось зрение.

Девушка: I'm so grateful to you. Even in prison you, Valentine, showed your love for everyone and restored my sight.

Священник: Unfortunately, tomorrow, on 14 February, I am to die. But I'm not scared and I want to tell everybody on earth. 'I love you. I'm you Valentine.'

Ведущий: Just before his death, on February 14, he sent her a farewell message signed "From your Valentine".

Ведущие: I see you love each other and may your dreams come true! Happy Valentine's Day!
