Конспект урока английского языка в 5 классе по теме:

«Животные в нашей жизни»

Цель урока: Систематизировать и обобщить знания учащихся по теме: «Animals in our life».

Задачи урока:

Образовательные:

- на базе имеющихся знаний, умений, навыков, обучать школьников навыкам аудирования, чтения, говорения и письма;

- обогащать словарный запас учащихся по теме "Animals in our life";

- практиковаться в монологической речи, в диалогическом общении, в переводе с русского языка на английский устно и письменно;

- развивать грамматические навыки.

Развивающие:

- развивать познавательные процессы, память, воображение;

- развивать мыслительные навыки: обобщение, систематизация, логическое и образное мышление;

- формировать познавательные умения: задавать вопросы и отвечать на них, доказывать, рассуждать.

Воспитательные:

- воспитывать доброту и любовь к окружающему миру;

- воспитывать осознание роли человека во взаимодействии с миром животных;

- - способствовать снижению уровня тревожности и преодолению замкнутости в общении.

Здоровьесберегающие:

- создание комфортных условий для организации и обеспечения образовательного процесса.

Оснащение урока: наглядный материал (комплект карточек с изображением животных),

компьютер; мультимедийный проектор, диск, презентации учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

a) Положительный настрой на урок.

Детям предлагается сесть поудобнее, расслабиться, закрыть глаза.

Мягким спокойным голосом ведущий произносит примерно такой текст:

«Представьте себе, что у вас есть надежное убежище, в котором вы можете укрыться в любой момент, когда пожелаете. Совсем необязательно чтобы это место существовало на самом деле. Это может быть выдуманное место (уголок природы, сказка, рядом с выдуманными животным или героем мультфильма). Можете представить себе какую-либо хижину в горах, шалаш в лесу, лесную поляну, лужайку которую никто кроме вас не знает. Мысленно окажитесь там, подробно рассмотрите. Что вас окружает. Вы знаете, что самое безопасное место, здесь вас никто не может обидеть, здесь вы хозяин и король. Вы можете в этом месте слушать музыку, играть, читать книгу, смотреть телевизор, разговаривать с другом и т. д.

Вам очень хорошо и спокойно в этом укромном месте, вас ничто не может напугать и разозлить, вы успокойтесь, расслабляетесь, отдыхаете. Теперь мысленно возвращаетесь в реальность, в класс, вы чувствуете уверенность в себе, вам хорошо и спокойно, вы готовы работать и учиться, вам ничего не угрожает, вы сильные и счастливые».

b) Hello, boys and girls. Hello, dear guests and kids. Glad to meet you here in the lesson.

II. Знакомство с темой урока:

Dear boys and girls! I want you to guess the theme of our lesson today. I'll give you the description of different objects and you'll write down the first letters of it and find out the theme of our lesson.

A - the first letter of the alphabet

N - the number that goes before ten

I - delicious cold dessert that we like in summer

M - Small grey creature that likes cheese

A - round in different colours and tasty

L - fruit that we put in the cup of tea

S - in the morning we see it in the sky

Good. What is the theme of the lesson? What do we talk about?

Pets and animals.

Yes, you are right. Today we are going to speak about animals and pets.

III. Фонетическая зарядка

- Let's learn the new tongue twister. It will help to you pronounce the English sounds and words better. Will you read it as quickly as you can?

That fat black cat sat on a mat.

IV. Актуализация ранее изученного лексического материала

- I'm sure you like to play different games. Let's play the game «Guess». I'll describe different animals. You will try to name them.

It can be very terrible and aggressive. It likes to eat meat and fish. It is very wild. It lives in the water. It is long and green. What animal is it?

(Crocodile)

It has a sweet tooth. It can swim very well but it lives in the forest. It likes to eat honey.

(Bear)

It is a nice and cunning animal. It lives in the forest. It likes to eat mice, rabbits and other small animals.

(Fox)

It has a beautiful yellow fur with black stripes.

(Tiger)

It lives in the trees. It can climb and jump very well. It can be big or small. It is funny and clever. It likes bananas very much.

(Monkey)

This animal is very unusual one. It can't walk, run, and fly. It can only jump. It lives in Australia.

(Kangaroo)

V. Основная часть: (учащиеся защищают проекты о своих дом. животных)

You know lots of animals. And I am sure you've got some pets. Who has got a pet? Raise your hands, please (идёт опрос).

Diana, have you got a pet? What pet have you got?

I know you've prepared projects about your pets. Do you want to present them for us? Who wants to start?

VI. На основе услышанного дети выполняют упражнение true/false.

Dear, boys and girls. Do you like our pupils' presentations? And now I'll see how attentive you are. Let me check your memory. There are 10 sentences on the screen. Some of them are true, some of them are false. Read the sentence and circle "yes/no". If the sentence is wrong, give the right variant.

VII. Составление диалогов.

Good job. We see you are good listeners. But let's continue speaking about pets and animals. I see that some of you don't have any pet. Now you'll have a chance to phone a zoo shop and ask about a pet. Work in pairs. One of you is a shop assistant and the other is a customer. Learn about a pet and buy it. The information is given in your cards.

VIII. Обучающая игра с мячом

Teacher: Let's play with the ball. Answer my questions when you catch it.

Teacher: Which animals live in the sea?

Students: shark, dolphin, whale, fish.

Teacher: Which animals live in the jungle?

Students: panda, parrot, snake, monkey, chimpanzee.

Teacher: Which animals live on a farm?

Students: rabbits, goats, cows, horses.

Teacher: Which animals can swim?

Students: whale, dolphin, shark, crocodile, penguin.

Teacher: Which animals can fly?

Students: bat, parrot, fly, bird.

Teacher: Which animals can run?

Students: rabbit, lion, bear, elephant.

Teacher: Which animals have got a tail?

Students: camel, chimpanzee, elephant, giraffe, goat, kangaroo etc.

Teacher: Which animals are big?

Students: bear, elephant, whale.

Teacher: Which animals are small?

Students: bird, frog, bat.

Teacher: Which animals do you like?

Students: give their own answers.

Teacher: Which animals are you afraid of?

Students: give their own answers.

IX. Физкультминутка.

And I'm sure it's time to have a rest and sing a song about the farmer's favorite dog "Bingo". Will you stand up, please?

Hands on your hips, hands on your knees,

Put them behind you if you please.

Touch your shoulders, touch your nose,

Touch your ears, touch your toes.

Raise your hands high in the air,

X. Игра «Actors».

You know that animals are good actors. Lots of them work in circus. And what about you? Can you be an actor? Let us see. There are some cards here. Come to the blackboard, take a card with the name of the animal. Don't read it for us, just show. And we'll try to guess your animal.

XI. Знакомство с английскими пословицами

- Let's learn the English proverbs about animals. The task for you is to read these proverbs and try to find their Russian equivalents.

When the cat is away the mice will play.

One chicken keeps a hen busy.

You can take the horse to the water but you can't make him drink.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

To kill two birds with one stone.

Curiosity killed a cat.

XII. Заполнение кроссворда.

Dear, pupils. You know lots of animals, there are pets in your families. As for me, I haven't got a pet. But one animal is my favourite. To know what it is you should do a crossword. Let me divide you in two teams. I'll give you only one minute. Start, please.

Now come to the blackboard, one by one and fill in the crossword. Yes, my favorite animal is an elephant. It is big, strong and wise.
