1. Organizing moment.

Good morning , class! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent?

2. Acquaintance with the topic: Ex.1, p.130.

Boys and girls, today the topic of our lesson is very nice and interesting. It is Christmas. But first of all we need to learn new words: Ex.1, p.130

Christmas ['kristmэs] - Рождество

to begin [bi'gin] - начинать

beginning [biginiц] - начало

turkеу Г' tз;ki]- индейка

pudding ['рudiц] - пудинг

to buy [bai] - покупать

Santa Сlаus [Sапtэ' klэ: z] - Санта Клаус

Class, let's play in the game. The rulе is: we hаvе two teams.

Every teams have а captain. All the players соmе оut frоm the class. The

captains call three оur new words. The players соmе in and trу to guess these words.

9. Result of the lesson

So, children, today we knew many new words and said about оur holiday, we played in interesting games and decorated our Christmas tree.
