Цели урока: введение новой страноведческой информации по теме «Англоязычные страны и родная страна»; развитие навыков чтения на материале таблицы со страноведческой информацией; совершенствование навыков устной речи (защита проектов)

Задачи урока:

Обучающая: Расширить знания учащихся по страноведению Соединенного королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии.

Развивающая: Развивать устную монологическую речь учащихся.

Воспитывающая: воспитывать интерес к предмету английский язык; Воспитание у старшеклассников толерантности, уважения и чувства ответственности к другим национальностям.

- Lets start our work. Today we shall have a talk about some of the most important countries in the world and learn the new information about them.

Игра «Продолжи логическую цепочку».

Ребята, перед вами две карточки, в которых нужно продолжить логическую цепочку слов. В первой из них вам необходимо дополнить слова по теме транспорт (например, машина - земля, то есть машина едет по земле), вторая карточка по теме страноведение (вам необходимо написать столицу или страну, например Москва- Россия, то есть Москва столица России).

Учащиеся заполняют карточки.

Читают слова, затем составляют словосочетания со словами из данных столбиков.

Один ученик задает вопрос, другой отвечает и задает вопрос следующему.(и так далее)

Учащиеся рассказывают приготовленные дома топики об одной из заданных стран.

Учащиеся читают информацию об указанных странах и отвечают на вопросы из упражнения.

Исправлять произносительные ошибки.

Анализирую ответы и обращаю внимание учащихся на то, как важно знать и уважать язык и традиции страны, которую посещаешь..
