Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку:

по теме 'Halloween'

Цели и задачи:

1. совершенствовать лексические, фонетические и грамматические навыки;

2. развивать языковую компетенцию на основании лингвострановедческих знаний;

3. совершенствовать умение работать в микрогруппах для повышения результативности работы;

4. повышать интерес к изучению языка в целом и традиционных праздников стран изучаемого языка в частности; воспитывать чувство уважения к другой культуре.

Подготовительная работа:

Подготовка оформления, раздаточного материала, презентации.

Оборудование и оформление: карточки; презентация

План мероприятия:

1. Приветствие.

2. История праздника и его традиции.

3. Соревнование команд (проведение конкурсов).

4. Объявление победителя.

5. Изучение известной игры и песенки ведьм.

6. Завершение.

Ход мероприятия:

1. Организационный момент.

2. Показ презентации, рассказ о празднике. (введение в тему занятия, мотивация к обучению)

3. Распределение учеников по ролям для чтения диалога. Чтение диалога «The Ghost who could not say "Wooo…!"» Приложение 1 (развитие навыка чтения)

4. Разделить детей на команды. На экране(в карточках) даны слова какая команда первая соотнесет цифру с буквой.

5. Напишите слова, расставляя буквы в правильном порядке. Быстрой команде очко.

6. Вставьте пропущенные буквы в правильном порядке. Быстрой команде очко.

(отработка и первичная автоматизация в речи лексического материала)

7. Выявление команды победителя.

8. Чтение «Funny Game»

The Ghost Who Could Not Say «Wooo...!»

Main characters:

Fortune-teller, Polly Pig, Gilly Ghost, Mr. Cat, Mr. Pumpkin, Miss Witch.

Fortune-teller: I want to tell you a story about the ghost who could not say «Whooo...!» A young ghost, Gilly by name, was walking about the dusty road. Then he stopped, sat down on a stone and began crying. At that moment Polly Pig was passing by.

Polly Pig: What's the matter?

Gilly Ghost: Oh Polly, I can't say that word.

Polly Pig: What word?

Gilly Ghost: The word all ghosts say when they go out haunting on Halloween.

Polly Pig: I'd be glad to teach you.

Gilly Ghost: You are a real friend.

Polly Pig: Listen to me, Gilly, «Oink, oink, oink!»

Gilly Ghost: No, Polly, that isn't the ghost word.

Mr. Cat: Of course, it isn't the ghost word. What a silly ghost not to know such an important word.

Gilly Ghost: You are right. I can't go haunting if I can't say that word.

Mr. Cat: I'll teach you, «Mew, mew, mew!»

Gilly Ghost: I'm sorry but that is not the ghost word either.

Mr. Cat: Let me think... I know who will teach you. He knows everything.

At that very moment Mr. Pumpkin came out of the bushes.

Gilly Gbost: Whoo-oo? That's it, that's it! Will you teach me to say fiat word?

Mr. Pumpkin: Of course, I will!

Мiss Witch appeared.

Miss Witch: Gilly Ghost, that is the best «Wooo...!» I have heard tonight. I'm proud of you. Hop on my broomstick(помело) and I'll take you out to haunt with the other ghosts.

Gilly Ghost: Thank you for the lesson, Mr. Pumpkin.

Polly Pig, Mr. Cat: Wooo...! We've learnt to «Wooo...!» too!

Miss Witch: Anything can happen on Halloween. It's a magic night!

Miss Witch pointed her long bony(костяной) finger at them and kicked her broomstick.

Gilly Ghost: Good-bye!

Funny Game

Someone puts water and apples in a big bowl. The apples stay on top of the water. The players must keep their hands behind their back and take an apple out of the water with their teeth. The game is very funny and difficult, and players usually get very wet!
